I slept for about 4 hours. My throat doesn’t hurt anymore but I still don’t feel amazing. I took my temp and it’s 99.1 which is causing a lot of anxiety. I did sleep under blankets and I am still under a few blankets, so maybe that’s why my temp is elevated. I’m just really anxious I hate feeling this way. I would covid test but I tested Thursday and it was negative. That was my last test. I am also allowed to work with Covid as long as j mask

Hi Daisy. I have anxiety but it definitely doesn’t feel fear based . I don’t worry about much, so my relating to you might be off a bit.

What happens if you do get sick with something?

I guess nothing, which makes it seem so silly that I’m anxious about it. I just want to be able to go to work tomorrow. When I’m sick I get scared that I’ll never feel better

To me you’re not being silly. Your perception and feelings are real and your reality .The obvious trick is, is how to change your perception. You know that getting sick is part of life and most times we get healthy again

Have you tried certain things?

Are you a believer?

Yes I am! I have been praying like crazy

The reason I asked is I’ve been able to use my faith to take away a measure of fear and anxiety.

My believing in his promises has reduced it greatly by knowing no matter what I’ll be alright

99.5 is not considered a fever. It is only 0.5 above average. People run hot or cold, normally.

Do you feel exposed to people with COVID? If so, then masking may reduce sources and therefore reduce anxiety. The pandemic has created anxiety like never before.

Just protect yourself. Vaccines, masks, hand washing and sanitizer, eat healthy, drink lots of water.

Hi Daisy425, I just tested positive for covid over the weekend. I've had fever, chills, sore throat, and body aches. It's affecting my anxiety too. I slept all day Saturday and then couldn't sleep Saturday night, nor Sunday night. I'm not even tired even though I haven't slept. I feel good enough to sit at the computer so I guess I'm making progress. I hope you are feeling better today.
