Long list of strange eye issues...thyroid connection?
I have hyper nodule confirmed by uptake scan and TSI negative (no other antibodies tested recently) but I have developed an number of different eye issues. ⚫️ Ingrowing lash! Causing irritation when too long. Very fine, so difficult to remove but I have managed to do it a few times. ⚫️Very small

Need HELP : Epithelial Basement Membrane Dystrophy after Infection
As mentioned in a topic, a goof friend of mine diagnosed with EBMD (epithelial basement membrane distrophy) after konjuctivitis almost lost his vision on one eye (0.15). EBMD and dry eye were treated with conservative methods, nothing could help. Now, PTK (laser) was recommended to remove defective parts

IBS-C people-tinnitus and red eyes?
I was just wondering if anyone suffering from constipation has problems with tinnitus? Also I notice that when I’m really jammed up , I seem to have red eyes and slightly worse vision. I’m just wondering if there’s a connection...??

Where do you inject your Pegasys?
I have always injected in my tummy, but I lost a lot of weight (mainly because of several courses of antibiotics earlier this year), and now I am struggling to grasp enough flesh. Do any of you inject into your thigh or anywhere else? Do you know if it makes any difference to absorption or effectiveness

Delayed eye appointment warning
Just wanted to post a cautionary message regarding eye appointments. Just before lockdown I was diagnosed with glaucoma, (this had caused some loss of peripheral vision ) and the beginnings of cataracts which was a shock coming only 2 months after GCA diagnosis. The consultant prescribed Latanoprost

Pelvic adhesions
Hi all, May anyone who has had abdominal adhesions or pelvic adhesions tell me what it was like? And what you did to resolve them? At first I thought I had pelvic floor dysfunction, but my PT doesn’t think i do. So I am looking for other consequences of Pelvic inflammatory disease, and found a lot of

Myopic CNV and a little question
It feels good to read great experiences. This is a hard process. My wife is the one who has CNV in both eyes being threated right now with Lucentis. She is just 32 I think I suffer more than her because this is like a roller coaster, everything began when she was 18 due to high myopia. Good and bad moments

Advice please
I am continuing to find it difficult sourcing a make of T3 that suits me in this country, having been taking Timorel from Turkey for some time. One chemist can get Teva and am wondering if this would be compatible. I have tried morningside and a small yellow tablet with no markings from Ascot laboratories

Legs Edema Swollen
Both my legs from the knee down have felt swollen. The cat scratch on my leg and no blood but a clear fluid. I showed wife and she diagnosed edema. She called ER to ask do I need to have it looked at. She got cut off. So looking at webmd, not to worry. I had just started walks in the mornings, I'll continue

GCA Misdiagnosed Blind In One Eye
I’m writing this on behalf of my mum who’s 74 and just lost her sight in one eye to misdiagnosed GCA. She started with a terrible headache out of the blue in a March which didn’t go away.,she noticed a pronounced vein on her temple. She contacted her Gp (pre lockdown) and went in to see her and was

Ocular hypertension
Ocular hypertension is an eye pressure of greater than 21 mm Hg. Yesterday I found that I had 23 mm Hg eye pressure, and I wonder if it is related to ET or Hydroxyurea? Anyone deal with this? Thank you all.

Burning Skin
I have been doing so well on NDT since February 2019 TSH - 0.46 (0.3 - 4.5) FT4 - 16.4 (12 - 22) FT3 - 5.7 (3.1 - 6.8) but on 28 April I was taken into hospital with quick onset glaucoma. I was given a drip to bring down the pressure that evening and had to go back the following morning for laser

methotrexate and a dry mouth
I have been taking 7.5mg methotrexate weekly plus folic acid x 6 days a week for mild R.A. I have always had some issues with a dry mouth at night but this seems to be getting worse. It is so bad some nights that I frequently wake up with the whole of my mouth and tongue completely dry. I drink water
