Feeling seriously deflated and loss of hope
Hi all I'm feeling seriously like I will never ever have my own family. I just seem to invite problems every step of the way. Like I'm a magnet. We were hoping to do our transfer (last own embryo) before Christmas and I had to cancel the day before the transfer due to personal circumstances. This was

Slow growing blastocysts
hello all, I have a question for any IVF ladies out there. Has anyone ever had slow growing, small ( size 1 or 2) or poorer quality blastocysts ( bb bc cb cc etc) on day 5 in a cycle but then gone on to have faster growing, expanded, better quality in the next cycle? Do you think it’s possible for

we found out around 7 years ago that we were unable to have children with ivf also not being an option for us. For a long time I had come to terms with that and my husband and I have a great life and have been positive about what this means for us. however over recent months the sadness of the situation

Thickness of lining
Unfortunately my second IVF cycle failed recently with what our clinic graded as a 'top quality' embryo. I was worried that my lining was too thin at 7mm, but they weren't concerned and went ahead. I've read online that the optimal is 8-10mm, and I understand some clinics have a cut off of 8mm before

Another BFN (trying for a sibling) and next steps
Firstly thanks everyone for sharing and responding, it honestly means the world to me to know you're all there, as at times I've felt so alone on this journey ❤️ I've lost count of the number of people (friends, family, doctors and close colleagues) who have said to me after every subsequent failed round

IVF App
What are some of the features you would like to see included in an app around IVF? When I was going through IVF I couldn’t find an app that really explained or helped me through my treatment. I used google a lot and made my own planners and schedules that were useful for me.

IVF pregnancy - did you give birth early?
Hi, I'm currently 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant. When I went for my 12 week scan I was advised that IVF pregnancies don't go over and are usually induced early, I wasn't aware of this and although I understand there was reasons why I wondered if people could tell me their experience. How early was your

Need mental help or support about sharing the ivf procedure with parents and in laws
I'm Indian 36+ ttc since 2016 and moved to UK in 2019. 2 iui + 1ivf icsi FET failure. My parents torture me to the core to share all the details of my process and everytime I tell them they have no rights to ask and I'm not obliged to tell, they start up their drama of being silent. Already my childhood

reoccurrent miscarriage & endo
Hi all. I had a laparoscopy last week, I was lucky as it was only one month after suspecting I could have endo. Although I think it was the cause of my 6 miscarriages and 2 failed ivf attempts. I’m feeling pretty enraged that not one of the 5 fertility doctors I’ve seen suggested it could be endo, even

When is it enough?
hi everyone. I’m struggling. I saw our consultant this week following our most recent EC. We have 3 PGTA normal embryos from it which we did not expect (for context, we got 9 embryos from our first two rounds and only one was PGTA normal. Transfer of that one failed in July). I was so happy with getting

3 rounds of ivf and only 2 3BC's. Not sure what to do next?
I have had three rounds of ivf (two stimulated, one natural) and only got 2 3-day 3BC embryos, neither of which stuck. (Solo journey so donor sperm). I am not sure what actions or steps to take next? I am 42/43yrs old and feel like my chances are all about to fall off a cliff. I have been doing acupuncture

Irregular menstrual cycles after IVF
Hi, Has any one experienced a change in their menstrual cycles since undergoing IVF treatment? I use to have a regular cycle which would last around 23-26 days, and bleeding up to 7 days. My cycle's are much shorter now at 21 days and bleeding between 3-5 days. This sudden shift in my cycle has made

Graves disease
Hi I have Graves disease (an autoimmune disorder) and am worried I should be looking into this side of things more, when going through IVF. Has anyone else got Graves disease and did you do anything differently than the 'regular' IVF patient? Thanks

Stopping IVF Meds. Fear is causing a lot of stress.
Hi ladies, I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday and everything looked great. Placenta was seen (albeit on the front as opposed to back). My IVF clinic told me to stop meds and on the day of scan the midwife said it was fine to stop as well. I’m just so worried about it! On the day of transfer my progesterone

IVF abroad experiences/ costs/ countries
Hi all, I'm hoping to continue my journey abroad as I feel the UK is too expensive for me and this will likely be my 2nd and last round of IVF. Can anyone share their experience with me? Especially in terms of countries, clinics, prices here v abroad. Really keen to hear from those of you who used
