Has anyone had gastritis, acid reflux problems from taking ibubrofen or NSAIDS for endo pain? Scared of becoming dependent on omeprazole
I had a laparoscopy at the beginning of March to remove a chocolate cyst and free up adhesions. I then took ibubrofen for 3 weeks every day 3 times a day with food for postoperative pain. I had taken it on and off before for pain but it is not my regular pain killer. I usually take co-codamol so am

Cutaneous Candidiasis, has anyone had it and/or healed it?
Think this is what is going on with my skin and it is escalating. Both myself & my open minded GP reckons is what it is, but the Daktocort cream is not impacting it (didn't really expect it to!) OR mayb e it takes a good while to work? I have tried topical aloe vera gel, but that did not help at

No hope, no cure, no future. Hit rock bottom ;(
Forgive me for this extra long post, but I'm honest and truly at the end of my rope. The "s" word has crossed my mind a lot in the last few days, and I was hoping a session of hypnotherapy would relieve it. It didn't, in fact only moments after leaving I fell to my knees in tears. I'll explain my story

Hi, I have been living with some form of IBS for almost 9 years now. It has made me housebound over time due to uncontrollable diarrhea, and now i have just recently became a dad and i feel its about time i gave up on the trial and error of untold amounts of tests and treatments and go for a colostomy

I am just about to trial pure aloe Vera gel, has anyone else tried it out?
I have been told that it could help protect my stomach and build up my immune system. I am really hoping it will stop the griping, nausea and general bloating. If anyone out there has first hand experience of it, how has it helped

Reducing inflammation of the gut walls caused by gluten with the aid of natural healing aids (and a Gluten Free diet)

The small intestine is quite complex as it comprises of four compartments within the duodenum itself: these

Sulfasalazine Rash?
Hi folks, am looking for a bit of advice as a few weeks into starting on Sulfa I have developed a bit of a rash under my armpits, very itchy I might add, but it puts me in mind of prickly heat which I had on a holiday in a very hot country. Does anyone have a bit of a home cure, at the moment I'm washing

The last five weeks have been a little hairy but it is not all bad news.
A few weeks back, I was started on a very very low dose trial of 'Plaquenil'. i was full of hope about this...as my young daughter is doing better than she was at age 15 with her dose of 'plaquenil' and 'aspirin'. I was well read and informed, and knew with my profile and also mixture of five diseases

HEAD TO TOE allergic reaction to Plaquenil and some help please
Hello, here am very glad to have half working hands. I have SLE Lupus, Hughes Syndrome, Psoriatic Arthropathy, Sjogrens and Hypothyroidism. I had a trial of plaquenil, as it is clear that I need something for my failing health. I started this with optimism and some caution due to my existing conditions
