Is there ever any end to it? At my last visit to the gynaecologist he told me they need a diagnosis so they can determine treatment and sent me away with tranexamic acid (which makes me ill) I told him I was fed up of just having painkillers chucked at me all the time and want it sorted!! I HAVE a diagnosis

Negative results but no bleed...?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?... Embryos (2) transferred on the 1st August and two weeks later a BFN. No withdrawal bleed occurred over the following week and within that week 3 negative results. Called the clinic on the 8th day and they asked me to test again - still negative.

Endometriosis, Norethisterone and so many Tablets!
I have recently been diagnosed with Endometriosis after my first laparoscopy at the age of 18 as I had been suffering with pain for about a year. Before surgery I have been put on multiple different pills each one not working for me, either bleeding constantly, making me violently sick or severe abdominal

When to start Clomid?!
Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice. My consultant advised me to take norethisterone for 5 days and then start Clomid on day 2 of a bleed. I finished the norethisterone on Tuesday and had nothing until yesterday. Yesterday I started spotting/v light bleed and it's continued today but no heavier

Norethisterone - Honest Opinion?
I visited my Drs again this morning after my 13th day of irregular bleeding. Due a phone call Friday for a choose and book appointment but struggling with pain and bleeds. Its really getting me down. I was given Co-Dydramol but pretty much used all of it up. I have now been prescribed Norethisterone

In agony after stopping norethisterone
Has anyone got any experiences of stopping norethisterone? I was on it for 9 months after my mirena fell out and I needed a transfusion. My doctor has put me back on the mini pill, which had helped before with the pain but had caused a lot of spotting (I was then persuaded to get the mirena which was

Norethisterone
Hi ,I was put on 5mg norethisterone in June 2014 and ended up on it for 9 months. My consultant decided that I needed to come off the high doses and take Noriday instead. I was very happy to do that as even though they stopped theb bleeding and pain I was having loads of side effects. I was weaned off

Treatments always wear off/mood swings?
I have now tried so many different treatments and pills that I just feel fed up. I had a laparoscopy in 2013 for my endometriosis and at the same time i had a mirena put in. That was fine and everything was under control for about 10 months. Then i was put on norethisterone which helped for 2 months

Norethisterone to start a period?
Hi just wondering if anyone can help? I suffer with endometriosis and had an lap+excision in November 2014. This always seems to do the trick, however since this my periods have been irregular and far apart (PCOS has not been formally diagnosed, however it could be a possibility). My consultant informed

Mirena - stopping bleeding?!
Hi – I need some advice please ladies … I had the Mirena fitted at the beginning of Feb and have bled lots of days between now and then and although it is a pain, I know it needs time to settle. I had a very bad ‘period’ last month for March and then bled for 7 days of April so I presumed this was still

Hi I have been on the above medication for 8 years to stop the build up of endo. In order to see if i am menopausal the GP suggested i come off it toe see if i have a period. After 3 days i started to bleed, is this a period or a hormonal bleed due to coming off tablets?

Hello everybody So that's our waiting nearly over and on Wednesday I will take first tablets metformin and norethisterone. Staying at work until 25th when I start menopur .. Decided to sign off as I work shifts different every day and timing would be impossible to do as I am in busy stressful shop

When returning endo isn't actually endo: results of my 2nd lap, help for those in similar situations and advice on treament/clinics :)
Hey ladies, I'm finally a bit more with it after my lap so I'm back to posting. I know a lot of you have asked me how it went as you're in a similar situation, so I thought it would just be easier to write a post on my results and any advice I think may be helpful (I just want to say that I'm not medically
