Hi everyone, I posted on here in Summer as I've been really struggling with my symptoms. Since then I have eventually been able to see an endocrinologist and he allowed me to get my blood tested- he said my T3 and other relevant things would be tested but after looking at the results which I picked up

So it goes. One embryo left, and still we dis not manage to get my lining ready. It reached 7.2mm with triple line on Tuesday and today after 19 days of estradiol and three scans over a week (not cheap) it is down to 6.5 with triple line breaking. It is maddening. I found the 2ww quite relaxing compared

Lab results, any tips, advice etc is very welcome!
Hi all, Today I visited the endocrinologist. This was the second time I went to this one, after getting stuck with previous internists who only were willing to treat upon TSH and FT4. I I'm on 0.1375 levothyroxine and 4 times a day 5 mcg liotyronine. I still have lots of hypo symptons, most problematic

Could this solve recurring UTIs that many of us suffer with?
Saw a lovely new GP today who may have struck gold re why I have been thwarted with recurrent UTIs for three years. Sometimes, even though there is blood in urine, results show no presence of UTI. So I was fast tracked for cancer tests, however all came back negative - thank goodness. So went to see

Estradiol (estrogen) & Selenium.
New study below [1]. Elizabeth Platz [Johns Hopkins] has been involved in many interesting (to me) PCa studies over the past 3 decades. Including this one. It is an estradiol-selenium study using NHANES III data (National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey), but the context is the possible link

New Member - No Doctor - Help Understanding Tests
Greetings everyone! I am a new member. You recently assisted me regarding my beloved mother in my post about Congestive Heart Failure (thanks so much). I take care of her and my 91 year old father (they are married 69.5 years!). I have them in their own home being together! I would appreciate your interpretation

Dihydrotestosterone [DHT] & PCa castration resistance [CRPC].
New study below. A dozen years ago, with PSA continuing to rise, & no good conventional options at the time. IMO, I decided to try testosterone supplementation. My understanding of DHT at the time was this: - the appearance of DHT in a prostatic cell caused the generation of an enzyme to clear it. This

Gaining weight like crazy - have no thyroid due to cancer
I have been trying for 6 years to get my body normal and switched doctors often to try and get help. I am 30 years old. After having my thyroid removed for cancer 6 years ago, I started on Synthroid in 2012 and gained weight and had depression. I was on 150 mg of synthroid and my blood showed free

Chonic tendonitis for a year
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? I've had this problem in ankle foot area. Extreme pain in ankle bone also. This effects standing and walking so much. Nothing has seemed to help much. Estradiol pills helped some with loosening my muscles and tendons, but need more help. With this and other FM issues

Long protocol - should I try it?
Hi all So had baseline scan on Wed, endometrium too thick again this month indicating an abnormal cycle. Oestradiol too high again, bascically I gave geriatric ovaries. It’s hopeless trying with my eggs. But I still have NHS funding left as I was given a second set of funding after they made an error

Third transdermal Estradiol update and 'exposure'!
Just received my latest PSA, T, E2, and AP results and I must say that so far I'm quite pleased. I am still using JUST tE2 gel daily, and one 0.5mg Avodart every third day and my PSA has reached a new 12 year low with NO side effects other than the little man-boobs which appear to have reached a plateau

Meds stopped - about to restart
I started feeling so jittery with palpitations and feeling really unwell that I stopped taking everything about 5 weeks ago. No T3 - was taking 20ug no levo - was taking 75 ug and no HRT 1.5 mg Sandrina estradiol. I can’t in all honesty say I have felt very different from how I mostly normally feel,

Friedman - DHT, etc..
Reading Friedman's book on hormones and lowering DHT ... but he states that higher levels of DHT decrease Bcl-2 and the proteins that protect the prostate cancer cells from dying. DHT lowers Bcl-2 levels five times more than T (p176) and low Bcl-2 is a good thing, leading to more apoptosis. Then he goes

Melatonin - Review.
New review paper from Spain below. I have been using melatonin for PCa for 15 years. Initially at 40 mg before bed; ultimately at 50 mg as per change in LEF recommendation. But not before I reviewed the literature. This is the PCa section: "3. Melatonin and Hormone-Dependent Prostate Cancer Prostate
