Hi

I have had some bloods taken with an endocrinologist as set out below (don’t have any ranges with these results given by endocrinologist):-

9am cortisol 289 nmol/L

Prolactin 190

Adj calcium 2.37

Oestradiol 130

LH 11.2 and FSH 22.1 U&E

IGF-1 23.7

Vitamin D 59 nmol/L

FT4 = 18.1

FT3 = 4.6

TSH = 1.54

ANA is mildly positive 1:80 speckled pattern - suggested rheumatologist review.

Any help will be greatly appreciated to understand these results.

Thanks Jo

Ring or email endo or his secretary and ask for the results including ranges

Asresults can vary from lab to lab we can't really say without your ranges aswe would just be guessing. For example my FT3 is the same as yours but my top of range is 5.7 so my expert things I'm fine thought I've told him not quite high enough for me to feel good but 6.8 I've seen several times as top of range which would have me feeling very unwell

If you are taking Levo the usual suggestion is that both FT4 and FT3 are in the top third or higher so the wrong range or a guess can tell a very different story. My e do doesn't put ranges on either unless I remember to remind him as my tests are done at a different hospital to that my doctor is more familiar with.
