It is an aromatase inhbitor & can therefore reduce the conversion of testosterone to
estradiol
. Although Wikipedia [1] cites studies that found it to be ineffective, I can vouch for it, when taken with Bioperine (piperine).

Latest results. High cholesterol at 25 and possible PCOS? Help please :)
Hi I've had some results recently and was just hoping for some advice on a few things that are concerning me. After the first 2 test results my gp said once my b12, folate and vit d had been treated we could trial levo if still symptomatic. In all honesty I don't really feel much different. However

Hi does anyone mind having a quick look over my latest results please? Particularly anyone with knowledge of PCOS which they've flagged up as a possibility due to a raised hormone. However they've assumed I have a 28 day cycle which I never have. It's normally around 34 days I think but it's been really

Cerazette and Estradiol
He has put me on 2mg of
Estradiol
as my estrogen levels are extremely low. This is most likely because i've been taking cerazette for years to suppress my periods to control the endometriosis. So yes, crazily I am taking a medication to suppress estrogen and then replacing it with estrogen!

Labs-ready for comments and your wisdom
I work with a great gyno who is giving me supplements, managing the NT,
estradiol
and progesterone. My endo deferred to my gyno to manage the thyroid issues since gyno is well respected in these areas. I see her again this Tuesday and hope to bring your comments to my appointment.

Restless Legs Abating after Estradiol Rx Expired
After realizing that I was sleeping through the night quite comfortably, and not having the agonizing leg cramps, burning, pulling and discomfort of the RLS, I looked up
Estradiol
to see if there was an information about RLS and
Estradiol
. Look it up. Feeling better, now & hoping it will continue.

Donor egg 6dp 5dt worried :(
Now back in UK, the clinic doctors asked me to have blood tests on days 3, 6 and 10 post transfer for Progesterone,
Estradiol
and Beta HCG. I got my day 6 results back yesterday and the beta was still < 2. Does this mean I'm going to have an unsuccessful cycle or is 6dp 5dt too early to know?

Post Sepsis Hair Loss
I have been placed on losartan,
estradiol
and hctz-potassium. will this have any effect on my hair, nails and post septic syndrome. I am a nurse but never heard of this? Thanks. Look at my hair how thick and long it is... now it is pencil thin and 12 inches shorter, about to my shoulders.

Chemo while low PSA
In addition I take daily supplements (Metformin, statin, vitamin D3 (10,000 iu), Wisconsin GinSeng and an
Estradiol
patch). Would doing chemo now be a 'smart' decision? I feel I have little to loose and potentially maybe quite a bit to gain. I would love to get some opinions.

Help with B12 Injections
Hi Everyone I’m after some much needed help! I have very low B12 levels over the past 6 months - readings 151. My doctor gave me a course of 5 loading dose injections over 2 weeks - Hydroxocobalamin but this hasn’t seemed to help me much & my symptoms seemed to have flared up even more since I had

My latest results - do I need T3?
I apologize in advance for lengthy post but don’t want to miss anything important. I have Hashimoto and been on levothyroxine for last 4 years. Recently I increased my levothyroxine dose from 125mcg to 150mcg. Although increasing it was a nightmare, I have made it and am on 150mcg for last 3 months.

Male Hormone Results
I already posted today regarding my thyroid results and I'm very happy with the fact my Levo appears to be working. I also asked for some Male Hormones to be tested as I've historically had problems with ED and make next to no progress in the gym: Oestradiol 128 <192 pmol/L Testosterone 18.8 7.6 - 31.4
