Advice on testing HRT
Hello, I need to test my progesterone/estradiol levels, do I need to take my usual dosage regularly on the night/ morning of the test? I am on HRT 200 Utrogestan and 1mg Sandrena gel. ( I take the progesterone before bed and put the estradiol gel in the morning). Thank you.š

Down reg blues
Has anyone else found down regulation really tough? Iāve just finished my third week of buserelin and my second 7-day course of norethisterone within that time and I donāt know what to do with myself. My mood swings are out of control. I canāt stop crying all day. Iāve got zero energy whereas before

How to bring down high fsh level, considering the estradiol is not an option!
I never had this high fsh!! Last month I supposed to start my ivf cycle, so we primed with estradiol. On day two of US my ovaries were asleep, 1-2 follicles in total. Obviously my fsh was really low 5.6 due to priming. I told my doctor that I think estradiol actually is not a good option for me since

Oestradiol too high for EC?
My oestradiol reached 22,000 on day 10 of stims. Iām coasting and have been off my FSH stims for 2 days. Itās fallen to 19,000 but still too high to consider triggering. Dr mentioned today that we might have to cancel if it doesnāt fall due to OHSS risk. Has anyone had any similar experiences? Itās

I'm an endometriosis patient. I already done laprascopic surgery for the chocolate cyst 9cm. Now I'm taking Contains Ethinyl Estradiol (0.02mg)+ Desogestrel (0.15mg). For last 1 and half years. Now I have heavy bleeding during tablet days. I'm taking Birth control pills 42 days back to back. On 8th May

Do I need added T3
Hi I took it upon myself in February to obtain bloods for food intolerances as my gut issues were worsening. I am already gluten free. I was becoming so confused with the many different Symptoms, apart from the obvious crippling stomach pain and trips to the toilet. I have a long list of intolerances

Cancelled cycle - over developed follicle?
Hi gang I had a really fantastic response from you great people last time I thought I would post a development which we weren't expecting. I wonder if others have had a similar story. Forgive me if some of the terms are incorrect - such a lot to take in! We were all ready to start a second round of IVF

Norethisterone and Low Mood
Happy Saturday all! Just a quick question, this is my first IVF cycle and am on day 20 of taking Norethisterone (5 days to go). Is there any association with taking it and low mood? I feel the last week or so Iāve felt really down. Could be a combination of things mind, this journey is so emotionally

Buserelin and periods
Iām just looking for a bit of reassurance more than anything... Iām currently on day 10 of buserelin, the side effects are taking its toll. Iāve had a headache for the last six days and barely slept for the last four, but more than anything my period is heavier than ever before. My ānormalā periods last

Updates on ovaries and floppy nose
For background, had ovarian cysts and enlarged ovary. Been having endometriosis type symptoms and pain as well. Saw Gyn last week. Started progestin only birth control - low dose norethindrone. I must say, it makes me feel a lot better. My sleep feels more restful and I feel like I have a little more

Estraderm MX100 patches on IVF
I need help with Estraderm MX100 patches as my doctor told me to start them 200mcg every alternate day. I started on Monday with one patch but today, I have changed it I realised that on the packaging reads "absorption rate: approximately 100 micrograms of estradiol in 24 hours" so my concern is if I'm

Update on (attempted) ADT via Estrogen Patch
Got my onc to go along with the PATCH protocol (of 4 x 0.1 estradiol patches, changed 2x weekly), and as it turns out things are not so simple. Yes, T dropped, but not yet to castrate levels. PSA did drop from 160 to 75 (while ALP doubled), but after a month T has gone from 500 down to only 187. Why?

Feel so alone
Hi all, im 27 but when I was between the age of 14-17 I suffered badly with heavy periods to the point I missed alot of school due to constant flooding. I was referred to a gynaecologist but just got put on a contraception pill & basically sent back to my gp which one gp did suggest they think I may

E2 skyrockets on BAT therapy
After about 3 months on BAT therapy and reading Friedman's book, I thought it might be a good idea to ask my onc to check my estradiol (E2) levels. He agreed. While the PSA continues to drop (roughly 10 to 5), I nearly s*** a gold brick when he casually mentioned my E2 was 170 (normal is about 20-40
