Post Sepsis Hair Loss
I am 54 years old, I was admitted to the hospital wiith renal failure, sepsis and bilateral pneumonia, with a possible lower right lobe mass, that I still do not know what it is. I am really scared as I am losing my hair in clumps like I am a chemo patient. I had hypokalemic, hypomagnesaemia, hyponatremia

Chemo while low PSA
Dear brothers, I need some advise/ opinions! I feel I am at a crossroads of sorts. Maybe I even have an opportunity! So thinking 'out-of-the-box' I am considering doing chemo before what would be considered normal standard of care. I have managed to drive my PSA down to 1.1 and in light of

low thyroid numbers/hormone issue
Ok, basically I feel awful! I have no energy and am depressed and moody. I will send this to my doctors tomorrow morning but thought I would like to see what you all think now. I think I was in the ovulation phase? I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago but still have my ovaries. Thyroid Panel With TSH

Can anyone help with sex hormone results?
Hi I am wondering if a lot of my problems are down to my sex hormones ( I'm 47) and seem to suffer on and off through the month. I don't have hot flashes or sweats but when my hormone drops they are triggering migraines( which I never used to suffer previously) and also digestive problems. It seems that

Low libido
Hi, I'm new here! I'm a 27 year old gym instructor, recently diagnosed with PCOS when I went to the GP with virtually no libido for the last 2-3 years. They sent me for blood tests and then I had the pelvic scan which determined PCOS. However as I don't want children right now they just left it at that

Endometrial thickness
So last cycle the lining was too thin. Yesterday it was 17 which my consultant seemed to think was fine. Just been reading some stuff that over 16 can be as bad as it being too thin. Then read other stuff that this thickness is a good thing for implantation. At least my progesterone has stayed down

Oh no! Ate before blood test
Soo not my proudest moment but I accidentally ate 2 ounces of butter and 1 bag of precooked brown rice around 6:30 and went in for bloodwork around 8:03. I completely forgot not to eat and remembered just as I was in the lab techs office (by this point she was already getting the needles ready to draw

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Button mushroom - Agaricus bisporus
Surely I jest? The lowly white button mushroom [WBM] contains an aromatase inhibitor. As such, it may inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. WBMs are also a source of conjugated linoleic acid [CLA]. Surely, not a whole lot - but [1c] describes it as "an important component". & "WBM was

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Hormones - Progesterone
This post was prompted by a side-discussion in a thread initiated by Nalakrats: "Protocols For Cycling T, or T use in Metastatic Post ADT". Member "2548oo" mentions Dr John Lee, & is currently using progesterone cream. I must admit to being wary when I see Dr John Lee's name mentioned in a PCa group.
