Diagnosed with endo but biopsy doesn't show it
Hi, So I had my laparoscopy about 3 weeks ago and was told by the surgeon that he found endometriosis on my bowel/between rectum and uterus along with a chocolate cyst on one of my ovaries. I went for my post op appointment this week and was told that there was a vesicular lesion found however a biopsy

Dienogest - can you take it before a diagnostic lap?
Hi has anyone been prescribed Dienogest before a diagnostic lap at all? Or do they only prescribe it after you’ve had a lap and confirmed diagnosis of endo? Thanks

Between treatment pain
this is a bit of a long one (sorry in advance) I was diagnosed last year through private care that I got with my work at the time. I was told that I was at high risk of ending up with a colostomy bag if I went for surgery, so they pushed for ‘medical management’. My first gynae had already put me on

New endo diagnosis
It’s a bit of a long story… I guess my question is can you have endo without the chronic pain? A month ago I had laparoscopic surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. During the laparoscopy, they unexpectedly found that I have a hemi-uterus (she’s since had a gynae radiologist have a look at my MRI and it

Hi everyone. Just looking for abit of advice. I’ve been on prostap injections for almost 4 years now. I have stage 4, had over 9 surgeries for endometriosis over the last 9 years and the only thing that has ever controlled my endo symptoms and given me a lease of life has been the prostap injections

dienogest - shivers and cold
Hi everyone. Am on day 3 of taking dienogest and since yesterday I have been feeling freezing cold and shivery, also getting numb hands, and the veins on my arms and legs very visible (like a circulatory problem). Otherwise feel ok. Anyone else had this as a side effect? Wondering if it is related or

I had Zoladex injections for 10 months with hrt. I struggled with the side effects and to find an hrt that didn't make me bleed

Side effects?
Good Afternoon, I just wanted to ask if anyone else who has been on Dienogest or is on Dienogest has had bleeding in between their menstrual cycles as well? I know it’s in the patient information leaflet but I was slightly startled when I saw significant bleeding yesterday that was accompanied by agonising

reoccurring thrush on dienogest
Hello everyone, just thought I’d ask for some advice as I’m struggling with reoccurring thrush at the moment and although that doesn’t sound awful, on top of all the other pain it’s the last thing I want. Little bit of back story, I was diagnosed with endo last year. Had a laparoscopy and ablation

Dienogest side effects
Hi all, I’ve been taking Dienogest for 10 days and I’ve not really felt any positive effects from it so far. I’ve had my first cycle since being on it and have had the regular debilitating shooting pains from the endometriosis. I’m not sure how long it’s meant to take for the medication to work but I

patch
Hiya, I wondered if anyone with a mirena coil has ended up using the patch too? If so, how are you finding it? I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo, surgery is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse. I’ve also seen posts about dienogest

Dienogest after hysterectomy
Hi all,I am 6 weeks post-op from a hysterectomy. I have only a right ovary. The doctor prescribed dienogest 2mg for 6 months. Has anyone else been prescribed dienogest after a hysterectomy? Can dienogest cause ovary failure? It's known that medications like Lupron, and dienogest address symptoms rather
