Extreme fatigue. Any solution?
This is wiping me out. Honestly. It tends to start at about 5 pm and lasts for about 2/3 hours. I used to take Whey protein to counter it but this appears to not hit the spot. I’m utterly exhausted when this phenomenon strikes and am wondering if anyone has any ideas? I take B1 daily (Superior Source

helvella - Thyroid Blog
You might or might not know that I have been accumulating information about thyroid issues in my blog - I have created a significant number of pages now. Many will be aware of some of the specific pages which I link to quite regularly. But you might not have realised what else is there. Below is a copy

Zoladex experience
Hey there 👋 I'm just wondering if anyone has had a negative experience with zoladex? I am due to have my 4th injection next week, was supposed to be yesterday but appointment got cancelled. I'm also on Estradot patches and utrogestan tablets. I've never felt so shit in all my life and the only thing

I just found out the cause of my autoimmune chronic pancreatitis and it’s not good. I have Sjögren’s syndrome.
it’s effecting my other organs too. I have osteoporosis, not from prednisone but from lack of nutrients from the pancreatitis. I need to go on a steroid to help stop my body from effecting multiple lungs, kidney’s, liver and pancreas. I have 4 cysts on my pancreas too. I had lymphoma from Sjogren’s

Ginkgo Trial (winter update)
The story so far. Taking 3 x 30mg Ginkgo during the lighter months one day a week resulted in a relief of my mild, variable T the following day. For 5 or so hours in the afternoon. I have now established that the same happens during the darker days but it takes 2 days for the effect to happen. I put

anyone used myovvii device ?
hello everyone, curious to find out if any of you have used the myovvii device that is promoted on instagram for period pain and endo pains? Apparently it sends signals to your brain to change where the pain is being detected. A little bit like acupuncture which I have also read about. I’m currently

Dead down below. Asexual?
I am feeling a deep sense of loss, although maybe, or at least at one time, and maybe now, it may be what I want or perhaps need. For the last 30 years, I have had a very high libido, and while my partnered life has been vanilla, I had been curious about and interested in just about everything. Since

Pain diminishing
Hi All Wanted to post an update and share what I'm doing with my diet: I was diagnosed on 20th October 2023, put on 15mg Pred, 1 month later reduced to 12.5mg then Saturday 16th Dec reduced to 10mg, at first all the pain and stiffness reappeared and I was gutted but it was "only" 6/10 and after taking

What AI Says About Supplements and Off-Label Drug Use Regarding Prostate Cancer

Tamoxifen v Acid Reflux
Hi All I have been clear from hormone related breast cancer for 3 years now. I am 62 & post menapausal . I changed medication from anastrozole to tamoxifen last month to try to help slow my osteopenia, as I do not get on with bisphosphonates. Unfortunately it appears to have aggravated my hiatus

Ant-inflammatory
I have chronic pancreatitis treated with Creon but I just discovered why and that I had additional issues. I has an MRI/MRCP, which disclosed I have 4 cysts on my pancreas and I have autoimmune cirrhosis. The cysts are just under a cc so nothing can be done but wait and watch. I wanted him to treat cirrhosis

Ginkgo trials - something different
I don't know if anyone is following my posts on Ginkgo, but if there be... Once a week I take 3 x 30mg the day before I would like a guaranteed (?) break from tinnitus for a few hours the afternoon of the following day. It didn't happen yesterday. Vitamin B research webinar
Yesterday 15.11.23 there was such a very informative Glaucoma UK webinar. For anyone who missed it luckily it will be available on Glaucoma UK' You tube' in a few weeks. Prof. Guss Gazzard gave such a good, clear explanation of this disease, and included the pros and cons of his Vitamin B research

High-Dose Vitamin B1 / Thiamine and Fat Soluble Benfotiamine Form
I am reposting a reply to the Vitamin B1 thread as I noticed a search on HealthUnlocked for Benfotiamine doesn't list the thread for Vitamin B1 and the information I posted doesn't fit in one reply. I'm not giving medical advice but I know a lot of people here are open to trying things and watch if

4th short term Ginkgo trial - Confirmation...
...that Ginkgo works for me, in the moderate way that it has been. On the day before respite required, 3 tablets are taken. The following day, T is there in the morning. But it will subside around 2 hours after waking and for this latest test gave me 5 hours when I could forget I have T. T returns late

Magic Magnesium Malate
Has anyone else tried this New Nordic magic magnesium Malate. I'm taking one tablet a day instead of recommended two. Each tablet has 120mg of magnesium, some b vitamins, which I'm used to but 2 extracts new to me. One has maritime pine bark extract 150mg per 2 tabs and some long pepper extract. I

3rd short term Ginkgo trial - a pattern emerges
This one was to see if the time between one day of taking Ginkgo for an effect the following day can be reduced from 7 days down to 3 days. I can report success. A recap: It is clear Ginkgo in its present preparation is not a cure for T. So, it would be a waste of time proving that taking 3 tablets

2nd short term Ginkgo trial underway
The 1st was around 10 days ago. 1 tablet taken evening of purchase, and 3 over the following day. The day after that T was not around in the afternoon for a few hours. I thought I had been cured (!) but did come back around 6pm. 3 tablets also taken over that day. The following day T was around and it
