Painful Intercourse post Hysrerectomy
Its actually sore at the perenium where You wd have an
episiotomy
for childbirth but I have never had that feeling of being "split" there. I feel that septum in between opening of vagina & back passage stretching and painful on entering even with lubrication.

More information/ and questions regarding holter monitor results and pre-eclampsia
He performed an
episiotomy
and also knicked me with his tongs. I don’t recall him saying anything about pre-eclampsia but from the results it looks very obvious to me. Would this information be helpful in sharing with the Rheumatologist, do you think?

FINALLY-LIFE BACK!
For me, the 'injury was due to damage from an
episiotomy
scar 30+ years prior, the having a hysterectomy with the Dr. *ripping* the gauze out the morning after and tearing the nerves on my left side.

Suggestions for comfort after an Episiotomy
Hi all I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions of keeping comfortable after having an
Episiotomy
. I recently had my daughter on Monday and had to be stitched due to being cut.

His heart rate crashed and they needed to get him out quickly so 1
episiotomy
and ventouse later he made his way into the world after nearly 3 years of waiting and tests. I just wanted to say that this forum was a great source of comfort and support throughout our fertility struggle.

Episiotomy scar
Hi Everyone, just wondered if anyone has been referred to gynaecology for a painful
episiotomy
scar? I did have a rather traumatic birth which was complicated by a postpartum haemorrhage and since then my scar has been painful (10 months after giving birth!)

Advice needed ???? Natural birth or c section ? Possible complications !
On my DS I was only in labour 3 hours 2 hours of that he was stuck so ended up having a
episiotomy
which I had a major hemorrhage, needed blood transfusions and had a nasty infection as all the stitching came out needing physio to fix the damage. He was born a week early.

Frightened and wanting advice
I developed a lump a few years after my children were born on my
episiotomy
scar which grew bigger when I was on my period. I had never heard of endometriosis so wasn't sure what it was and after backwards and forwards to drs I had the lump removed and was told it was endometriosis.

Vaginal stitches! Healing times...
It’s pretty uncomfortable at the moment and I’m petrified of the stitches coming apart (which happened to me before after an
episiotomy
, urgh). I also feel like my pelvic floor muscles are shot to pieces. Hope this will get better soon?

Retroverted uterus and reduced mobility?!
I am lucky that I have had 2 children (one c-section, one forceps which led to repeat surgery for
episiotomy
repairs). I had painful and heavy periods prior to having children and a history of pelvic pains which were put down to IBS since I was 14 years old.

A Year Later
They had also given me local anesthesia as there was a plan for
episiotomy
which never happened, so I didn’t actually feel her coming through. Being a person who is generally “not in her body” very often, I think it was damaging not to feel her coming out.

Lower pain in my right upper buttocks. I have complete level III uterine prolapse and I need anterior and posterior repair
I am relatively young and considered myself in good health. I am 37 years old and now facing a partial hysterectomy and I need a cheerier and posterior repair. I have been having pretty bad lower back pain on the right hand side of my buttocks. this is the pain that caused me to go get checked. And

Tampon problem!
The pain seems to be inside under
episiotomy
scar. I've not had a period or been able to have sex since I gave birth, I just wanted to see if my bits were normal :s don't know what to do now. Tampon has been in situ about an hour.

Episiotomy
I had an
episiotomy
which initially got better. I had an endoscopy 2 days ago as I am still incontinent. This included a vaginal scan (internal) and perineal scan. My
episiotomy
scar really hurts again. Any advice?

Third degree tears.
Did anybody have a third degree tear with a vaginal birth despite having an
episiotomy
? If so how did you cope afterwards?
