I am not sure Pete really understands what it all means as he cannot have an
epidural
, well maybe for the battery being fitted in the buttock, but not the spinal bit. I think I will try and speak with someone when we have a date as I just do not feel re-assured.

Seeing neurologist later and desperate for advice please
I also have dry eyes, double vision occasionally and was left with saddle anaesthesia following caudal
epidural
which comes and goes, comes more than goes. I want to rip my skin off most days through itching, which I know can be caused by meds.

Worried about NCT classes
Why can't I have an
epidural
or c-section and that still be a positive experience? Why can I only have a positive experience if I do everything naturally 'like a true earth mother should'?

I went to see my surgeon today regarding my prolapsed disc and some good news is that he feels I no longer need surgery due to the bulged disc has shrunk which showed up on my last
epidural
in January. Finally some good news!!

Pain Management Doc Appointment
The last two procedures were a lumbar radio frequenting Lesioning in November and a RACZ Catheter Targetted Adhesiolysis with
epidural
in December. Yesterday's appointment was to discuss what effect these had and what now? Sadly, I had no benefit from these very tough procedures.

Feelings of defeat
During the last 2 years I have had over 18
epidural
shots and 5 nerve ablations in my sacral and my back. I fired my rheumatologist because of the lack of treatment and results. During this time I was complaining about my feet and hands turning purple accompanied by tingling and burning sensation.

Incontinence surgery.
He`s already done a collagen injection that didn`t work, so now I`ll have to have a more complicated procedure which will mean either an
epidural
or a general anasthetic, plus several days in hospital.

CAUDAL EPIDURAL INJECTION
I am due to have a caudal
epidural
injection in both sides of my spine. Ive been 17 years with no control for weeing/ back/leg/feet/arm/hand and face pain, only found out about pain clinic 2 years a go. Since then they've done quartrisation, lidocane and most other treatments.

Newbie having Pelvic Pain
In the last year I've got ganglion impar, hypogastric and
epidural
. It does help but after a sudden pain yesterday that was so bad I couldn't sit I was scheduled for a new type of injection, Pudendal block. I just got home and I feel absolutely no pain.

Excision surgery tomorrow, starting to feel nervous.
Instead of a PCA I'm having an
epidural
for pain relief as it's been recommended for me by a pain specialist, I'm usually very drowsy after a general and I've had problems with the ward I'm being admitted to. If you've had this surgery what was your recovery like? And how are you now?
