Stenosis c1 to c7

I have bilateral stenosis c1 to c7. Have bad neck pain and headaches , pain in shoulders too. Saw a Neuro surgeon 4 years ago advising me for pain management for epidural injections In my neck. Haven't done anything for it but now getting bad neck pain and headaches. Any advice please?

we are not medics and cannot advise on the best way forward. You need to speak to your medical team.

Yes you need a more updated MRI to see whats happening now. I agree with Georje that you need to return to your GP for referral because it sounds like things have got to a point where you need to act. Whether that is meds or Physio or injections or surgery etc will depend on how bad the stenosis is and what they think will help the most.

One thing though, dont leave it because although most people are OK, things can occasionally get bad pretty quickly when it comes to stenosis on the cord and nerve roots and you wont know just how bad it is until you have those scans or at least be checked out by the neuro. ;)

Yoga, check out yoga. I have been living with no's 3,4,5,6,7 damaged. neck listing to one side. Trapping nerves. Yoga has helped my Spinal Stenosis...

Hi had op on spine 17eks ago to remove discs between c4,5,6,7 and rrplaced wiyh three carbon fibre cages due to r.a damage. It was the best thing i did but u must see your doctor. I paid to have an mri scan as wanted an answer to the severe pain i was in. Good luck
