RA and cervical neck injections....
Has anyone had any success with steroid neck
epidural
injections focusing on the facet joints and vertabrae? I've had 2 series of injections (7 or so each time.). Instructions were to take it super easy for at least the first 5 days following the injections.

What can I expect after surgery
I have had loads of operations due to a botched
epidural
which damaged discs in my spine but I've never had a throat operation before.

When the charge nurse told us the
epidural
was still running 😂- it's nice to see he still has a sense of humour Feeling a lot more relaxed now it is over but know there are some hard days still to come.

All the symptoms of hypothyroidism but told test normal.
I suffer from chronic back pain due to a botched
epidural
. My nails are breaking off, my hair is falling out, not in clumps but strands and strands when i comb it. I went to my gp and told him my symptoms. I told him my dad has an under active thyroid and asked to be tested.

To All Chronic, Symptomatic, Endometriosis Suffers - Should We Have Children?
Even during the birth, my midwife said the pain should be in my back not in my ovaries, as she ordered me an
epidural
!! After my son was born, the pain returned the very next day and I was put back on high strength pain killers. I could not breastfeed my son.

LVA SURGERY not just in Wales ?? MINIMUM INVASION SURGERY IN SPAIN.??
It took 4 hours with an
epidural
, and just one night' s stay in the private clinic. A slow and somewhat painful recovery period but not helped by the high temperatures here in Extremadura at the time. Also hampered by lack of experienced nurses in this remote corner of Spain.

Advice on living with Epidural Fibrosis
I am 49 and I was diagnosed with Epidual Fibrosis 8 months after surgery for slipped disc. I am trying to find out more about this condition and why it affects my physical ability. Recently I had a fall, which I seem to be more prone to, which resulted in such severe pain I had to resort to my wheelchair

cervical epidural steroid injection
Hi, I am new to this site but have had back operations and injections over the past 6 years. Unfortunately I had a stroke 3 days after my last set of cervical injections. I had never been told that this was a risk but have taken it on the chin as one of those things until I saw the pain specialist yesterday

Herniated disc L4L5
I've seen two specialists and one (the company doctor) suggest that I get
epidural
shots and do physical therapy.

Unbearable sciatica pain
My pain management doctor told me he wants to try an
epidural
but said I'd have to wait 4 weeks but its been 3 months now and I'm still waiting! Is it normal to wait this long? Should I get an
epidural
right away? Any recommendations of a doctor I should see?

Update
He wanted to do the caudal
epidural
cortisone injection but I told him to wait a bit longer for that. He found my spine and movements ok , except the nerve pain. He is going to revise me in a week time.

Operation
Hello I went to my osteopath yesterday and he said he wants to refer me to a neurologist for
epidural
or Operation. I don't want to go along that way. I saw him every two/three weeks but since Easter the pain I had in the leg for sciatica has become burning pain. No medication is helping.

One of my co workers due in for a double knee job is getting it done with an
epidural
for anaesthesia , just some sedation while it is done , i take it that it us being done to facilitate the bed emptying , when my turn comes , they had better put me right out of it

He will be getting another
epidural
at the same time. Yup exactly 6 months since last one. He still takes Oxycontin and Oxynorm together with patches. I have listened to research about long term use of pain meds and firmly agree they do stop working.
