Feeling really ill gastritis no energy
I have been suffering from gastritis for years, and I’m petrified to have
endoscopy
so I’ve been trying to deal with this through diet only, I have got omperazole tabs, but after reading online that they can cause dementia I stopped taking them, whether this is true I don’t know, but it’s freaked me

I’ve been to multiple doctors and specialists and have had both an
endoscopy

Being over medicated ?
When I went to the doctors she was concerned about the swallowing problem I have been having of late and sent me for an
Endoscopy
and a scan. I have had the
Endoscopy
and all is fine and am waiting for the scan later in January.

Had
endoscopy
and she is referring me for a ct scan as everything in stomach was normal . Doctor gave 10mg to take 1a day . He said they use this to help IBS . But I'm unsure . Is anyone else on this . Just would like some feedback on this tablet .

How long is too long to wait for treatment to start
My brother had his first
endoscopy
5 weeks ago because he had a blockage in his gullet and couldn’t swallow food or fluids. He had lost 2 stone in weight.

Blood in stools
I’m very active but do get v tired .. had
endoscopy
and colonoscopy about 2 yrs ago whilst in EU all cane back fine. But I’ve had upper abdominal pain and lower pain in and off for few years .. now noticed bright blood in stools.. is this to do with the gastric issue that comes with PA ?

How do you give yourself security?
I ended up having a colonoscopy and an
endoscopy
. The only thing abnormal found was more acid in my stomach than there should be and a hiatus hernia. Nothing abnormal in the colonoscopy.

Has anyone delayed their laparoscopy?
I was originally under gastro for suspected IBS, but after various tests (
endoscopy
; MRIs; scan) and me keeping a pain management and food diary the light bulb went off and the consultant realised it sounded more like a gynae issue.

I've had an
endoscopy

Let's have a quiz to brighten your Sunday! You only need to answer one question if you wish!!
Just to start us off I'm going to add 10 questions and see how it goes, if you enjoy it we can extend it and make it a regular Sunday Quiz, so here goes everyone. 1) From which language is the word ‘ketchup’ derived? Answer given Chinese :-) 2) Which is the country with the biggest population in Europe

Forced to take a break from running even though I'm not technically 'injured...' and I'm not even halfway through my half marathon training!
But then I'm going to lose another week of half marathon training the week after because I'm having to go back into hospital on the 6th Jan to have an
endoscopy
to see if they can find out what caused my bad abdominal pain in the first place.
