Break from ADT or not?
Recently he started complaining of stomach pain maybe from taking the 4 pills of Zytiga on empty stomach, but had an
endoscopy
and all looks good. I don’t believe these are major side effects that should impact the decision of stopping the treatment.

Morning everyone, I haven't posted in a few weeks, but want to say how comforting I find it to read posts and the very knowledgeable replies (I'm thinking of you Katy! ) I spoke to one of the liver nurses a couple weeks ago and she was a total saint and gave me so many practical tips. It's my husband

Silent reflux
I was referred to ENT 4 months after first visiting the GP with a sore throat and node. Had appointment last week. The ENT Dr felt my neck and used a small endoscope inserted into my nose. He said I have silent reflux and advised me to increase my Omeprazole from 20mg daily to 20mg twice daily plus Gaviscon

Hi Out There! I began having steatorrhea 10 years ago while taking care of my ex-husband who was dying of metastasized lung cancer. After his radiation treatments he liked to go to a certain breakfast style restaurant, and I had no idea that French toast could be so devastating to my body! I saw a doctor

Omeprazole/Lansoprazole on methotrexate
I've had an
endoscopy
today and have got a telephone call with said GP on Tuesday, although I doubt he'll have any results for a while. He has been talking about giving me medication but says that Omeprazole and Lansoprazole aren't advised with mtx so is talking about a drug called Famotidine.

New to this website and am looking for some advice :)
Still, the
endoscopy
ruled out any issue that I didn't already have, so when I saw the gastro man again, he said the next thing was a colonoscopy.

Second guessing myself on how to proceed
I've had PMR since January 2022 and was initially put on methylprednisolone (4 mg twice a day) for about 2 months but that made me ill so was switched to prednisone (5 mg twice a day). I started tapering several months later in 2022 and got down to 7 mg but then flared so went back up to 10 mg and stayed

Hi Do i have Sjogrens?
Hi, i'd appreciate any feedback please. I started do have a dry mouth 2017, it went to another level 2023. I had salivary glands swelling up, earache in both ears. Went down to see a nurse at health centre, couldn't get to see a gp! I thought i might have a stone in the glands? Was a waste of time really

Any advice for gastro symptoms which respond to steroids, but no diagnosis? Does normal colonoscopy cover the small bowel?
Is there any point in my going back and asking for a capsule
endoscopy
to inspect it in the vague hope there might some answer there? Or any other sort of investigation? I can't find any of my notes from the last investigations so not quite sure what colonoscopy covered.

ADT for almost 2 years
I also did a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
... So, no sign of cancer anywhere, but they said I had an auto-imune disease - Croombs disease. I read here that anemia can be one of the consequences of ADT. Is that so? Thanks in advance, Paulo
