I have already had one

of the womb in order to combat the problem. I am now not sure what else to write however please feel free to guide me in the right direction as I feel as though I am going round in circles!

Amiodarone & catheter ablation
Can anyone tell me whether they had to stop taking Amiodarone some time before their ablation & if so was it an abrupt stop or did they keep taking it right up to the event please!

no real discussions with a consultant before my first lap
last july was my last gynae appointment with a consultant, he at that time agreed to remove mirena and do
endometrial
ablation
and said 'oh you don't need a laparoscopy' he also said that my fibroids wouldn't be causing my pains or problems, but why wouldn't they?

Ablation Availability in the UK
I have seen quite a few people here and on other forums asking similar questions. Why have they not offered me an ablation? OR Why are they offering me an AV Node Ablation and a pacemaker? This really got me wondering about why???? I have spoken to a few others about it including some in the medical

I have just joined as wanting to find out if anyone has personal experience of the AV Node Ablation for AF. Had a dual chamber pacemaker fitted last month and go for the Ablation in May. Hoping to get some advice, tips or guidance from members who have gone through this process. Feeling nervous as

Awaiting endometrial ablation and excision of endo surgery has anyone else found this to have helped?
I'm now awaiting to have
endometrial
ablation
and removal of adhesions on ureters along with endo removal. I have stage 4 severe endo extensively, I'm 39 yrs old and are very lucky to have 2 children. If this surgery helps then I will be very relieved, otherwise it might mean a stoma for me.

Endo and adeno found during hysterectomy (its a long post)
First appointment with gynea ran through some of my symptoms and he thought the best thing would be a hysteroscopy and an
endometrial
ablation
. Was told recovery was minimal, only other option would be hysterectomy. So had that done, hysteroscopy just found my uterus was enlarged.

letter from hospital, but i really cannot understand it as it contradicts itself.....wondered what you thought
She is currently on the waiting list for
endometrial
ablation
. It would be possible to carry out a diagnostic laparoscopy at the same time. I suppose it is possible that she may have endometriosis, but on balance i think it is not very likely.

Adenomyosis and total abdominal hysterectomy
I have tried all sorts of hormone pills and painkillers.I had an
endometrial
ablation
4 weeks ago and have had constant bleeding since. I feel this is the only option left now, I cannot keep bleeding as I am aneamic and have constant abdominal pain.

My story, whats yours?
He booked me in for a laporoscopy, and
endometrial
ablation
(removal of womb lining for others that don't know) we opted for this as obviously i will not be wanting/having anymore children.

ENDOMETRIOSIS....seriously has crippled my life
I had horrendous bleeding for years since a teenager (I am 37 now) until 3 years ago when I had an
Endometrial
Ablation
(novasure procedure) prior to this they tried giving me all sorts of pill, coil, implant etc to help with the bleeding and pain.

Frustrated and confused!!!
either an
endometrial
ablation
or a hysterectomy. I have decided to take the ablation for now, it will be quicker I am having it done on Monday next week along with a hysteroscopy. He did mention endo but he said the only treatment for that is a hysterectomy!

Gynae appointment brought forward to today as there was a cancellation....
the hospital rang on friday and said i could come in today instead of 22nd august, ideal - he agreed to refer me for the
endometrial
ablation
, also had my pre-op today, so assuming all that was ok, i will need one more scan before the procedure and then it will be done, and i can have this wretched mirena
