ANTIBIOTICS AND EYLEA INJECTION ARE THEY COMPATIBLE?
I may have to have a course of antibiotics from my dentist at the same time or close to an Eylea injection. Is this OK or can they affect each other? Should there be a time space between? Many thanks in advance

Heated Dry Eye Mask
I'm wondering if its safe to use a heated eye mask for dry eye after trabulectomy surgery? I had the op 5 months ago. I had been using a microwave mask before the trab but its heavy on the eye so thought a USB type heated lightweight mask might be better. I'm suffering with very irritated eyes especially

RLS under anesthesia
Has anyone had RLS while under anesthesia ? I didn't know it would be possible but my Dr told my husband I was probably a secret opioid addict because my legs were twitching a lot during the procedure...... 1. I don't take opioids. Even when I tried them for RLS years ago it didn't really work and

Pregnenolone
hi everyone I just wondered if there was anyone taking Pregnenolone and to hear your experiences with it? Dr M an ex GP who now ‘prescribes’ it as part of her protocol, recommended I take it due to 4-point saliva test showing a low cortisol and low DHEA ( just one within minimum) and to be honest,

Central vision 'scarring' following wet AMD injection course
I currently still have quite blurred vision in my left eye following a sequence of 10 Lucentis injections during 2021. Possible Uveitis
Hello all - I'd welcome your input regarding possible Uveitis. As you'll see from my profile, I have a diagnosis of lupus. My main problems are fatigue and brain fog, joint pain, generalised aches and pains, raynauds, mouth ulcers, and recurring anaemia. I have always had dry eyes. About a week ago

cold face
I have systemic sclerosis, Raynaud’s, and fibromyalgia (plus other stuff). I also have stiffness and aching on the right side of my face neck and shoulder which I think is myofascial pain syndrome. Glaucoma suspect
I had my annual eye test yesterday and my pressures were 26 in both eyes, which was a big shock as a year ago they were 23. I was very nervous, which could have made them worse, but this is such a massive jump. Also, the nerve in one eye was a bit thin at the end, though she said that this eye looked

On a positive note
Good morning my MS friends. Without the miserable recap, 2022 Sucked! Welcome 2023, some highlights. Annual MRI and Eye exam in December- no new activity or eye issues Took a shower without a bench on Christmas morning, felt like a big girl. Just starting no walking boot while indoors, amen hallelujah

OZURDEX® and Floater
Unfortuneately the Eyelea injections did not work (I will post a more detailed update another time) and so I was given an OZURDEX® injection. Whilst I thought the Eyles injections painful this was agony (I seem virtually immune to those useless numbing drops). Now things are settled I sometimes see a

Cataracts
I haven't written for a while, but thought I'd share my positive experience with my cataract treatment. I had an eye test back in the Spring 2022, where the optician noticed my cataracts where slowly worsening. Come last Autumn I noticed a rapid increase in the blurriness and fuzziness in my vision.

Feeling 'drunk' and wearing contact lenses after trab surgery!
HiDoes anyone who has had Trabeculectomy surgery wear contact lenses? And does anyone relate when I say since the op I feel slightly drunk?? Sorry this post is so long.......... Having had a Trab in Sept I feel my vision has changed, which I was told would probably happen. Before surgery I wore glasses
