Good morning my MS friends. Without the miserable recap, 2022 Sucked!

Welcome 2023, some highlights.

Annual MRI and Eye exam in December- no new activity or eye issues

Took a shower without a bench on Christmas morning, felt like a big girl.

Just starting no walking boot while indoors, amen hallelujah.

Speaking of big girl dropped 40lbs following Mediterranean lifestyle refuse to use “d” word. Started July 4 th, with broken ankle (Aug 22’).

Last but not least we welcomed Buster into our pack, lots of work, laughs and love.

Ocrevus last week in January, 3rd time on 5 month intervals grateful no noticeable gap issues.

Peace my friends, welcome 2023, not looking for any miracles just some much needed peace.

Buster and Bella besties in the making.

Congratulations on the weight loss! I need to put some effort into a lifestyle change, too, but I'd like to do it without any broken limbs.

cute picture!! I hope 2023 goes as smoothly as possible for you. Congratulations on the weight loss. I need to lose 20 pounds. I’ve been taking prednisone since July and those first two months of the higher dose lead to this weight gain. I’m thinking it will not come off till I finish taking it this summer? 🙁

Good job on your new ‘lifestyle’ and new weight! I’ve been looking at the Mediterranean lifestyle. Is there a book or website that you used as a guide? Keep up the good vibes!

so many sites on Mediterranean plan, I like this one but they are also trying to sell something. eatingwell.com/category/427... . I’m a professional dieter, this “lifestyle” makes sense to me. My cliff notes - eat a minimum of 5 fruits and vegetables a day. Go ahead I dare you lol. Olive oil can be used more than you realize and it’s filling. My skin is so soft lol. No or little animal fat, use olive, avocado nut oils. No white flour or sugar. As I said professional dieter I could write books. Fish, legumes and chicken as protein I treat myself to “red” meat once a week. Greek yogart as afternoon snack add fruit and nuts. And NUTS daily either in salad yogart or as is. Red wine daily if you want, I enjoy a glass with company or if we go out. No weighing, measuring. 5 fruits and vegetables is filling trust me. Will never claim victory feel like I’ve said too much all ready right now today I am well. I have my physical next week curious to see my lab results 6 months into this lifestyle.
