I cannot recommend this enough! I consider it part of my durable medical equipment. 🤣 I bought one more than a year ago, "just in case", and it has been a lifesaver. For those of you who don't have easy access to a second car to jump your dead battery or a gas station on every corner to put air

I have had eylea injections for Macular in the right eye for wet for 6 years. It continues to be "still active". The left eye is the dry Macular and is not treated at all yet. . But, just last week after a consultation I was informed that this left eye has a cataract and can be operated on to resolve

cloudiness/blurriness after Eylea injection
I had my first eylea injection Tuesday after experiencing a CRVO. I continue to experience cloudiness and blurriness and some floaters. I’ve been in contact with the ophthalmology team, who’ve suggested that this can continue for days to weeks depending on the patient. Also, there are no other signs

RA, Sjogrens desease, Cataracts in both eyes, now Lupus?
Hi All, Can anyone tell me if there is any medication that can help with Lupus? I’m taking Hydroxychloroquine, + several pain killers. The Sjogrens is causing a lot of problems with my eyes, now Lupus is showing it’s ugly head. It would be nice if anyone has any help they can offer.

First post in around two years
I just thought I would drop in and say hi, and good to see some familiar names still around. For six months when I was here previously I tried my best to assist and support others and their queries as a survivor and have continued to do so elsewhere but to a more limited extent. Covid being less

Panic over cataract surgery
Hi friends I'm writing this as mum is on the toilet. She has cataract surgery due at 12.30 today but it is now 10.15 and mum needs a number 2. I'm worried we will not make it to hospital as she takes over an hour sometimes two to finish and then I have to wash and shower her. It takes an hour to get

Woke up to snow ❄️ this morning. Had to cover my bad foot and put a shoe and coat on to dig out Rozy’s doggie door. The wind was 25 mph and blu snow off roof and was2’ deep in front of doggie door. Didn’t do much but got it cleared out so she can use it. A friend is coming over later this afternoon or

Switching brands of Thyroxine
Hi there...I'm new to this forum so hello to all fellow sufferers out there. I've recently been reading about the issues that surround the swapping of brands of thyroxine. I heard about this from a lady in the pharmacy queue and couldn't help but overhear her conversation there. I asked her what

Blurriness and floaters
I’m currently in the ‘watching brief’ phase after a series of 10 Lucentis injections in my left eye. Over the past month, I’ve noticed a number of small black floaters and intermittent blurriness in the affected eye. I’ve yet to see my specialist doctor but the nurse practitioner and my optician haven

Could Pegasys cause hair thinning?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with MF in January 2021. I have been on 45mg of Pegasys weekly since then. I have noticed just recently that my hair appears to be getting thinner and shedding. Wonder if this is a side effect or my age!! 65. Thanks
