BESREMi 4th dose
Hey, guys! I see other members are sharing their move to BESREMi, so I thought I'd add my experience. As background, I was diagnosed with polycythemia vera 8/2017 (at age 31) but waited until my kiddo was born to start treatment beyond daily aspirin. I'm JAK2+, TET2+, ASXL1+, AB at 55% in 2018. Since

Negative HCG :(
Negative HCG today. Absolutely shattered. No more frozen embryos. Pgs tested. Aspirin, steroids, oes and prog. Era, alice and eq test done as well. Cannot understand why this is happening. It is such a horrible feeling. No more energy left.

Rivoroxaban and Aspirin
My husband awoke at 5.30 this morning choking and making no sense. His mouth was twisted left hand side. I called the ambulance but by the time they arrived the attack had subsided, face back as normal and speech coherent, although difficult to understand from residual damage following strokes 14

Cataract Surgery with permanent AF
New to the community. Have permanent AF, only meds Metoprolol to control heart rate and Aspirin. Saw some posts regarding cataract surgery. Anyone have similar AF "experience" that had cataract surgery? I'm a "timid" patient due to AF, but my cataract in one eye really needs attention. The community's

Got my blood work done yesterday and everything looked great with the exception of platelets. All rbc and wbc were in normal range but platelets went from 600 in dec to 825 yesterday :/ I am pretty down as I thought my platelet count was fairly stable. Is it normal to fluctuate like that? I have gained

**Sensitive** BFP with DE embryo
What a rollercoaster!! OTD was Saturday and was so relieved to see a strong set of positive lines. Tested on 3 different tests at 3am…classic early waking 😆. It’s our 3rd DE transfer. Had a 5AB and 4BB transferred. And now praying that our little one stays put and keeps going. Obviously I have zero

Confused! Do I have to follow up everything from my consultant with my GP?
I’ve had a pretty frustrating day so would be really keen to hear other people’s experience and advice. I’m female, 32 mins it’s ET. I asked my gp if my contraceptive was the right type given the risk of blood clots. They have no idea clearly so say they will research and get back to me. They don’t.

Thick blood!
Has anyone else had or have thick blood since their transplant? My blood is so thick that nurses have a hard time getting it out of me for labs. I was thinking of taking aspirin to thin it out on lab days. I did ask my doctor. He said he would get back to me after my current labs came back, but he didn

Aspirin and Anticoagulant
Had been taking Aspirin for 18 years got taken off and put on Edoxaban due to episode of AF. Cardiologist ( due to heart disease) is adding back the aspirin along side the Edoxaban. When googled it doesn’t make very good reading. Is anyone else on similar.
