Steroid injections and heart meds
Good morning everyone. I have been referred for steriod injections due to chronic back pain and just wondering if anyone else has had this treatment whilst on the usual heart meds. Ie Ticagrelor, Aspirin, Atorvastin?

Random bruises
I'm 67 and taking 500mg HU daily along with aspirin for PV. Bruises randomly pop up on the backs of my hands. Of course today it happened 30 minutes after I had already left the doctors office. Anyone else experience this??

Massive headache, Dizzyness
I am a new member. I have Lyme and have been symptomatic since 1992 when I removed an engorged tick. I was very sick but diagnosed with a virus. Some virus! It reemerges over and over again despite being treated with antibiotics in years past. I think the severe headache is Lyme encephalitis. What should

Update
Just thought I’d give a little update! So I’d had a stent fitted to relieve a 90% blockage in my LAD artery in November 2021. I was therefore started on Prasugrel (antiplatelet med) in addition to the 75mg daily aspirin I was already taking. They then found I have a moderately leaky aortic valve. Being

Had my scratch, we are good to go
So my thyroid has come right down, 2.57 from 10 in 3 weeks and I’m estatic. I had my scan there’s no lumps or bumps anywhere so I then had my scratch. I’m not gonna lie it hurt like hell. I thought it would be exactly like the biopsy for my NK cells but this just hurt that bit more- I felt sick 🤢
