increased headaches not on Aspirin
Hi all, Just a query question plz. I recently went to hospital with bleeding from my back passage after ongoing toilet problems. I had lots of blood tests carried out and everything appeared to be ok, although they told me to come off the Aspirin for a while and speak to my Heamo on next appointment

Ramipril or Reflux - hard to tell why I have this cough
Hi I had a heart attack followed by an angioplasty last month, and I am on the meds listed at the end of this message. In general terms I feel really good since the stent was fitted, and five weeks in I’m walking as much as I used to, but am still taking it easy in terms of strenuous activity. Have

Dizzy spells
7 weeks after my aortic valve replacement, recovering well, do get the occasional dizzy spell though, is this down to my meds? I'm taking bisoprolol, lansoprazole, asprin and atorvastatin.

Mild left ventricular systolic disfunction
At a pre opp assessment for a minor opp they identified a Left Bundle Branch Block, which I had never heard of. Eventually got to see a Cardiologist who put me on Ramipiril, Bisoprolol and a Statin, and sent me for an MRI and CT scan. Took some time and the results were just sent to GP, with no further

Anagrelide (Agrylin)
I am a 74 year old living in the U.S. - diagnosed with ET CALR 2 mutation in 2021. Was put on Hydrea aka hydroxyurea and low dose aspirin immediately. After about a year, began developing side effects and decided to stop the hydrea - against my doctor's recommendation. No, she is not an MPN specialist

Anyone taking 325mg aspirin with 1000-1500 HU daily for ET?
I'm 75 and my platelets are under 700. I also take fish oil along with a dozen prescription meds. My oncologist prescribed this much aspirin and HU. Should I be concerned? Anyone else taking this much aspirin and HU? I take 1000 every other day and 1500 opposite days.

Fatigue
Hi everyone. I got diagnosed with ET with an MPL gene mutation in December 2021. I take 75mg of aspirin a day. My platelet count hovers around 500 and goes up if I'm fighting any viruses. The fatigue aspect is what I'm really struggling with. It makes me feel incredibly low. My GP has put me on antidepressants

Besremi clinical trial opportunity
I've was diagnosed with Jak2+ ET in March, though the BMB report stated they couldn't exclude pre-fibrotic myelofibrosis as a possible differential. It's been a bit of a crazy ride, but am now under the care of an MPN specialist (what a difference a specialist makes!) My symptoms include fatigue, headaches

Vensection
I have had E.T Jak 2 positive for over 3 year now, I have now had 4 venesectlons as my hemocrit slightly high, does this happen with E.T? I asked hematologist if this means I have progressed to P.V and she told me no but it can vary going from E T to PV. They don't actually tell you much, I am only on

Laparoscopic Surgery and PV
I am 67 years old and have had PV for 3 years. I am on 1,000 mg Hydroxyurea and one low dose aspirin per day. I have to have laparoscopic surgery to remove my ovaries. I am very concerned because of the higher risks of blood clots or excessive bleeding that I have read about for people with PV during

Hi First time poster here. I am 62 had an angioplasty following a heart attack last month, with a single stent being fitted. I was reasonably fit through walking beforehand, and have been enjoying daily walks since the procedure, gradually building up my range on the flat, so I am very pleased at what

I am in my 70s and discovered to have heart issues at a pre opp assessment for a bowel op. Cardiologist put me on Ramipril, Bisoprolol and a Statin prior to having an MRI and CT Scan.
