Anyone with Post ET/MF & Budd Chiari?
early on but after several DVT's,
embolism
and PE's I was put on Warafin and Allopurinol and basically monitored until my MF symptoms got "bad enough to treat". About 15 years ago I had blood clots form in my liver and 7 years ago more formed as well.

Question on necessity of blood thinning medication in relation to Pernicious Anaemia, once solved.
But as a consequence of the two cases of
embolism
I am prescribed for blood thinning medication for the rest of my life, which is "standard protocol" in the Netherlands. However, research suggest that the lungembolisms likely were caused by the B12 deficiency.

Newbie, awaiting rheumatology and urology...
An
embolism
was thankfully ruled out...but they had no idea why I had developed such shortness of breath as I was previously fine. They said it wasn’t typical asthma as I wasn’t wheezing. I was sent home with steroids and no idea what was wrong with me.

Beaware of Diabetic fatigue Leg syndrome : Leg lower limbs cramp, ache , pain, getting tired easily? Take care before it becomes too late
I never had visible DVT (Deep vein thrombosis ) which means blood clotting in side vein which could lead to Pulmonary
Embolism
. DVT ruled out. So I did not have PAD, PN, DVT and Vericose which normally a diabete is vulnerable to. But I tried to do some further research to get over my problem.

Duoresp spiromax inhaler
I'm so frustrated that I really thought I was either having a heart attack or had a pulmonary
embolism
and I kept using my inhaler more due to feeling so breathless. Please just be aware of the side effects of this inhaler.

Dilemma
Since last month I’ve been on warfarin following a thrombosis in my leg and pulmonary
embolism
. My doctor says he’s not able to inject me for B12 whilst I’m on this medication. Any ideas how I can get my dose?? It’s due in 2 weeks.

Graves’ disease and now a heart defect.
He said although I am high risk of clots and pulmonary
embolism
I can’t have blood thinners because I have Von willibrands disease. Does anyone else have this defect especially the thin atrial septum. I keep wondering if itcan rupture but don’t want to look like an idiot if I ask my GP.

Will Kidney Diet Help CKD3 If Cause Is Medication?
I'm on Eliquis (5mg/2x a day) for a pulmonary
embolism
and due to family history, I will need to take it for life. I'm 66 and was in excellent health prior to my blood clot in January. No family history of kidney disease.

day out at the Brompton !
Well I have had my lung function test and my echo back at the Brompton this week, followed by a consult with the doc. It seems I could be a prime subject for valves or alternative help with the lungs, seems the worse the lungs are the better they like it, I now have to wait for an appointment for

Ablation and anticoagulants
Hi All, me again! Just a follow up from my previous posts. As you know I had an ablation for AF last Monday and was prescribed Rivaroxaban to take for six weeks afterwards. As with my previous experience with Apixaban, Rivaroxaban is affecting me in exactly the same way, breathless, dizzy, feeling faint
