I’ve had PA for years and take hydroxocobalamin injections. Since last month I’ve been on warfarin following a thrombosis in my leg and pulmonary embolism. My doctor says he’s not able to inject me for B12 whilst I’m on this medication.
Any ideas how I can get my dose??
It’s due in 2 weeks.

Another suggestion would be for you to have a word with your pharmacist for his opinion on whether it would be safe for you to have your B12 injection and may he/she would speak to your doctor.
I am not a medically trained person but I've had Pernicious Anaemia (a form of B12 deficiency) for more than 46 years.
What about B12 patches? They often aren't as effective as injections, but it might be a safer alternative for you than injections while you're on warfarin.
