My doctors will drive me to... death due to conflicting medications.
If you choose, you can go back on the aspirin instead of the

Can ablation make symptoms worst?
Besides taking
Eliquis
, I tolerate my symptoms well. I'm scheduled to have an ablation in few days. My question is, anyone out there had the ablation and the symptoms become worst after? I want to get it done because my atria are enlarged and my ejection rate at 40%. Thanks

Diagnosed with Afib 3 yrs ago and put on Flecainide and
Eliquis
. Have not been in Afib since then. No flutters, nothing at all. I am having increased side effects of brain fog, shortness of breath on exertion, anxiety, lethargy, etc., presumably from one of the meds.

AFIB, Eliquis and Gout
My question: Since I can't take ibuprofen anymore because of the
Eliquis
, what can I take to treat a gout flair up? I tried Tylenol and it was useless and provided no relief. Any help by way of comments will be appreciated.

Low heart rate AFIB
My younger sibling was diagnosed with AFIB and is on
Eliquis
and Metoprolol. She has frequent episodes, but always converts. Her heart rate never goes above 90 when she is in them. Is this true AFIB? Because of this she never communicates with her EP because it doesn't bother her.

Eliquis & Osteoarthritis pain
I'm on
Eliquis
for 10 weeks due to pulmonary embolism. Will likely be on it for life. My long time osteoarthritis is making life miserable due to taking away Advil or Aleve. Tylenol does nothing! Can I take MSM? Or anything else??

Side effects from Eliquis
They also found a blood clot in my lung on scan and I was put on
Eliquis
as anticoagulant. I have had horrible side effects of poor balance, some cognitive issues, bad nausea, fatigue from brain radiation.

Hi, I am on Tikosyn and
Eliquis
and am having severe hair loss . I am thinking it is one of those medicines. I have been on them for 5 months now, does anyone else have this problem with either of these meds?

Stress is Driving Me Insane/into AF
Yesterday the EP put me on apixaban (
Eliquis
), which is an anti-coag. I've been in and out of AF for weeks, but I've had a lot of stress over some personal issues lately, and I KNOW it is this that keeps putting me into AF.

Post ablation anniversary and the best birthday gift
Shortly, I feel great - still not any medication although I will eventually start
Eliquis
(again). Keeping my blood pressure and glucose levels in check, walking 2-3 miles every day.

How long for dronedorone to work?
I'm new here, have had under-control AF for years with Atenolol, but now it has suddenly stopped working and doc put me on
Eliquis
and Multaq (dronederone). How long is a reasonable time for dronederone to work on lessening the AF symptoms? I've been on 5 days and my AF has not improved.

New at Going to War With Afib
So now I’m a few days into
Eliquis
5m and Multaq 400 m. Doc says I’m looking ahead at ablation here in Orlando. I’m retired high school English teacher, and I’m looking forward to participating in the community forums. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

Persistent AFib with low ejection fraction of 20%
He is on
eliquis
and on blood thinners. He had an ablation yesterday and the dr. said it was not successful. He will be in permanent afib the rest of his life. He said his heart was in bad shape dialated and weak. He said that possibly a virus attacked his heart but he is not sure.
