Eliquis

My cardiologist told me today that even if this indicates success, or if I have to have the procedure repeated, and I have no more episodes ever, I will have to remain on an anti coagulant (Eliquis) for the rest of my life.

On Eliquis 2x5mg. per day, Levothyroxime (1per day) 75 MCG, Hydrochlorothiazide (1 per day) 25 MG. Diltiazem, 1 per day, 180 mg. Losartan, 1 per day, 50 mg. I don't notice AFIB symptoms, so losing weight before Ablation would be a good thing.

I have been on Eliquis twice a day ever since. The doctor said I have to take Eliquis for life. Many people have said they have had Pe and dvt again. My doctor said it is highly unlikely that I would get another while on Eliquis. What are your experiences.

I feel at risk even though I wear a stocking and take Eliquis. I see a lot of people mentioning their filters they have had put in. Is this maybe just a Canadian thing?

Was put on eliquis 2x a day 5mg and diltiazem er 120 mg. I was already on bystolic 5mg 2x a day and 20mg of lisinopril. Lately I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous just about every day. Had an episode of afib on 9/1/18 because I was frightened by a pigeon that flew out of my chimney.

My physician of course is perplexed and says eliquis does t cause this but I’ve read on this forum so many who have had it. Please help.

I spent 7 months on Eliquis and have visited a hematologist to find I have no clotting disorders. Last week, I was taken off Eliquis.

After two long doses, volatile home with propofenon (2x300gdia), atenol (2x25mgdia) and eliquis (2x5mgdia). I'm asymptomatic, the Holter shows very busy extras all night. I have ablation scheduled for October 23. I'm very scared and I take rivortril for anxiety.

Prescribed Xarelto anti coagulant which caused severe anaemia from internal bleeding, blood and iron transfusions followed, I am now taking Eliquis and recommended for an ablation. For 8 months my heart has been very settled with just very very occasional small episodes of chaotic rhythm.

She is on metoprolol, Lasix, levoxythyroxin, magnesium and Eliquis. Since the afib seems to have stepped up a bit, he is recommending an ablation of the circuit board of the heart. Has anyone ever had an ablation at this age and how did it go??

I am currently taking Eliquis and Coreg plus hydrochlorothiazide.

None that last much more than a few minutes and am on Eliquis and Cardia, I seem to be doing ok . I am active and work a lot. Short of breath at times and tiredness on occasion. Supposed to admit to hospital tomoorw to start Solatol , but after much reading I DONT think I am ready for that.

Pradaxa (dabigatran), Xarelto (rivaroxaban), Eliquis (apixaban), and most recently Savaysa (edoxaban) Unlike warfarin, the newer drugs are, it says, safer and easier for patients to use. I wonder if any of you are on any of these and what you feel may be the best replacement to wafarin.

How much is Eliquis in the UK

I now am on metropolol, fosinopril, and eliquis. I have read on this site where people are on bisoroil and soidoil? My cardiologist is taking the conservative approach. Says the Eliquis is the best defense. Can anyone let me know what you are on for svt’s Thank you.

As it also acts as a blood thinner and I am on Eliquis I am worried about being ‘over thinned’. Anyone had any experience of using NAC - in addition to or instead of their anticoagulant? I have been completely AF free for 5 months after a second ablation.

Hi , I have been in NSR for 6 months now when I was switched to 50 mg o Flecanide 2 Xs a day along with 12 1/2 mg metopropol 2 Xs a day and Eliquis 5 mg 2 Xs a day. . I am traveling to Florida and am wondering if I should wear compression socks on the 3 hour flight.

what cold medication can i have when i am already taking Eliquis and and Sotatol thanks in advance

I have AFib and I'm on Eliquis. I'm due for a colonoscopy. I'd have to stop the Eliquis temporarily. My dr will have an opinion but I'm wondering what others do. Forgo the procedure? Opt for an alternative perhaps? Accept the risk of stroke from being off the anticoagulant?

Is it safe to take Eliquis (Paxaban) and Diclofenac together?
