Eliquis

Yesterday, riding in my car here in the US, I heard another Eliquis ad from my radio. And finally in this ad, the info that Eliquis "should not be used by those with antiphospholipid syndrome" was included. Finally! Yeah!

I started on Eliquis (anticoagulation med) in December 22. Platelet level was tested at 215 (range is 150 - 400). Re-tested since then and it has been steadily falling until October 24 was 131 and considered LOW. Anybody had this issue with Eliquis (also known as Apixaban).

Has anyone with Wet AMD then put on Eliquis for Afib seen an increase in bleeding in the eyes since being on the Eliquis?

I ended up getting released from the hospital a few days later on Eliquis. I had been taking that medication for a month. I saw my Pulmonologist on July 9 and that is when he moved me to Warfarin. I was taking Warfarin for 3 days before I started to get a pain in my leg.

Hi I've been on Eliquis for some years, but today the Superdrug pharmacy where I get my prescriptions just gave me the Sandoz version of Apixaban instead of my usual Eliquis. She said that they can no longer get a specific make - they just use whatever brand they're sent.

But the discount cards provide tiny reductions in price for Eliquis. My questions are: 1. How much do U.S. people here pay for Eliquis through their Part D insurance? 2. Who are your carriers that have these prices? Thank you for your help!

Before I started to take Eliquis my skin on my arms had gotten very thin. So I bruise very easily. Now I’ve been on Eliquis for 3 weeks and I am getting more bruises very quickly. Sometimes I don’t even know how they got there.

She was diagnosed with Afib in April and put on Eliquis. Since then she has been having more bleeding in her eyes at her eye doctor appointments.

When taking the anticoagulant Eliquis for AFib, how common is abdominal pain as a side effect?

I just had my consult and on schedule for ablation I thought the Dr said I would stay on eliquis during procedure is that standard?

I’m on sertraline, pantoprazole, Eliquis, Roustatin and pramipexole. Any advice would help. RLS is the worse.

I had an ablation done on 12/23, now I have no palpitations, my Dr. says I can go off the Eliquis is there something natural I can take to thin my blood?

Recently put on Eliquis 5 mg twice a day. I feel like my bones and muscles hurt. Also yesterday getting into my husbands pickup I apparently stretched my inner thigh muscle so now when I walk it hurts really bad. I know I can take Tylenol but a have a prescription for naproxen 500 mg.

I get my Apixaban (generic for Eliquis) from Canada Pharmacy Online at less cost than Eliquis. It has to come through U>S> customs, so takes 1 to 2 weeks for delivery. I take 5 mg twice daily and it works very well for me.

I was taken off of it when I started the eliquis. Can’t take any aspirin on eliquis either. Talked to my oncologist and he said I can’t stop taking the eliquis. He gave me celebrex which did no good.

I have AF 9 years controlled with Eliquis, metoprolol and Flecainide. For two days pVCs that almost take my breath away. Recent lexiscan normal. So annoying as I get them every couple of hours. They cause me anxiety which doesn’t help. anyone else?

Taking Eliquis. Could this be from APS, and if so why? Thank you.
