Morning All,

I've had ECG, transthoracic echocardiogram and i've got a respiratory physiology appointment on Friday the 3rd of December. I have, however, just received notice that I have an appointment on the 11th January with a doctor.

For the appointment on the 11th I have been given no further information. Simply, appointment on the 11th of January at this time and with this doctor. When I have looked the doctor up I can see he is a consultant respiratory physician.

The initial problems being investigated was an overly fast heart rate and breathing problems.

At present I have been given no results.

Does anyone suspect that I will be given the results on the 11th of January. Also, is it common to get a further appointment before one appointment has taken place?

Thank you,

Is it a change to the Dec 3rd appointment?

No it is not. I had a text only just to confirm my attendance on the 3rd of December. That states it is for a respiratory physiology and the one on the 11th of January is a meeting with a consultant respiratory physician.

Well, it's good that you have the next appointment booked. I have been waiting for weeks for a follow-up appointment. My previous post was because my husband has had an appointment rescheduled three times!

Oh I see. I've had an appointment in September, October, November and now December but none of which have been rescheduled.

I am based in the North West so I'm not sure if that makes a difference?
