hi everyone

Hope you are all ok just a quick question I had a heart attack almost 3 years ago and a stent fitted

Recently I have had a loiter bit of discomfort on the right side of my chest - been checked at hospital and they said my heart looked looked bloods ecg all normal but it was my angina

I’ve not really had a issue with this since my heart attack and it’s knocked my confidence again

I am due to fly to Italy soon and know I can I think about is having an issue whilst there the pain has subsided and it’s a little niggle every now and then so am I just making myself feel it as I’m worried again

I am I worrying over nothing ? Is this my mind just over thinking everything ?

Hi. I imagine that you are worried about going abroad so why don’t you check with your gp or cardiologist to see if they think you are ok to fly. This might put your mind at ease. It could be your anxiety causing the discomfort but make sure you have your travel insurance sorted and a ghic card (if you are from the U.K.) I hope you get it sorted and have a lovely time in Italy.

If you don't have a GTN spray at present, see your doctor about getting one. A GTN spray can be very helpful in an emergency.
