Gastro problems and palpitations?

Hia guys anyone had any link between gastro problems and heart problems? I'm still in the beginning stages of finding out whats causing palpitations racing hearts (waiting on results of 48 hour ecg , heart scan and appointment with a cardiologist) but I always seem to find the palpitations always seem to coincide with when my stomach feels bloated i always seem to have gas bubbles as if the trapped wind is building up and causing palpitations I have got a hiatus hernia but it hasn't bothered me for years? I'm just wondering if they're is any link or just a coincidence x

By changing to a more plant based diet, never eating large meals - more of a grazer now, avoiding all foods that contain artificial additives, reducing sugar intake. My stomach used to bloat terribly but it doesn't now.

My hiatus hernia used to bother when when I was bent gardening, but since changing my diet I'm not aware of it any more. I've also lost a stone in weight.

Keep us updated on what you find out. I have gastro issues w/hiatus hernia. I have noticed my heart rate elevated but no one ever mention them being related. Thank you.

I've always thought they're was a link and I've read up alot about it just no one has looked into it that much ill keep you posted xx
