I'm not sure whether atrial flutter will be picked up by a Kardia, although the tachycardia it causes will be. Afl does cause tachycardia but it's unusual as it creates a sudden leap up to ~150bpm. If persistent, Afl causes all heart rates to be a ratio of 300 (150 > 100 > 75, etc.) with no smooth rise of fall, just an instant step-wise change.
I had it two years ago and it was simply awful, being so completely physically debilitating. Looking back, I suspect anxiety was a major aspect of how bad I felt, too. You have my sympathies!
