Aktiia wearable bp monitor

Facebook has obviously been spying on me (no surprise!) and has suggested I might like this gizmo that you wear like a watch and it monitors your bp day and night.

Does anyone have any experience of it and if it is respected in medical circles? (A family member with afib was told the Kardia ecg monitor is good by a cardiac nurse for example, so some of these devices are definitely useful.

I haven’t, but I cannot see that it would help you. If your doc thinks that monitoring other than by a normal BP machine would be useful, s/he would offer a 24 hour one. To wear such a device for more than (say) a week would not tell you anything useful

I asked my doctor about one and she said save your money. I was looking at the Apple Watch
