Fells like my heart stops when I'm falling asleep..
Nothing is helping me - I'm actually going to have an
echocardiogram
done tomorrow morning and even feel like I won't make it until then because today, when I was trying to fall asleep, I get woken up to this feeling of my heart skipping a beat. What will it take to make this all stop?

Mitral valve regurgitation
Before Christmas I had an
Echocardiogram
which showed up a problem with my mitral valve. On the same day another poster had exactly the same diagnosis. Unfortunately I can't remember the members name - sorry.

Biliary Cysts
Male 43 been getting chest pain for 18 months. All blood tests, stress tests and echo cardiogram show no cardiac disease. Was sent for Cardio CT scan two weeks ago and results now back showing all clear cardio wise but noted 'two small biliary cysts noted'. Phoned GP today who had also had copy of letter

Another Hopeless Nightmare at the ER
He set me up with an outpatient
echocardiogram
, told me to follow up with my PCP and request a sleep study. I have not had chest pains all day until after leaving the er.

Newly Diagnosed
I'm 32, good health,
echocardiogram
and blood work was great, and I don't have any other "comorbidities." September was my first episode (that I'm aware of). I went back to NSR within two hours and the cardiologist I saw said that I'm so low risk that he's not going to prescribe meds.

Post Ablation - TIRED of the cough. How long did it last for you post ablation?... 1/15/17 Update* Turns out I have a Pulmonory Embolism
I did have a transesophageal
echocardiogram
during the procedure, maybe that is the cause? What say you more experienced than I ? Thanks :^) 1/15/17 - Update: long story short. Unable to breath lying down, breaths getting shorter and shallower.

Chest and arm pain.... STILL!
I have now had 4 EKGs, 3 chest x-rays, and an
echocardiogram
treadmill stress test. ALL normal! This is so frustrating. I don't even feel anxious when it starts! It's happening even when I'm just trying to relax watching TV.

I have received the results of my
echocardiogram
which showed mild to moderate degree tricuspid regurgitation which I have read can cause AF.

Self diagnosing again - but what to do?
I did this, and was discharged, after having been assured that there were no signs of a heart attack, although an
echocardiogram
showed some issues with my ventricular function. My GP has prescribed B blocker in view of the cardio issues, and requested an assessment for POTS.

Bisoprosol landed me in hospital with low heart rate
And am scheduled for
echocardiogram
. Having read up on this I realise that I am a prime candidate for a condition I had never heard of - 61 year old trying to get really fit, congenital heart condition, treatment for hypothyroidism. Sorry for long post, thanks for reading this far!

Long awaited results!!!
Followers of my posts will recall that I was requesting a view last October, which I finally had, and also an
echocardiogram
in September. At last I have got results of both........ The echo was described as "generally favourable", the mitral valve leak "mild to moderate",....

BP is high upon wakening
Recent
Echocardiogram
was good except for " mild diastolic dysfunction is present (impaired relaxation pattern)" Maybe is why doc is sending me for a stress test.

Just had an ablation for Atrial Flutter
He has booked for me to have an
echocardiogram
next month .Is it normal for this to happen, and would it be likely that my heart would have suffered some structural damage as a result of the numerous episodes of afib and to episodes of atria flutter.

Aortic valve regurgitation
She recommended an
echocardiogram
that was normal and mild aortic insufficiency. She said this is a minor finding that is not causing any problems and they will monitor it over the years to make sure it doesn't get worse. She recommends next
echocardiogram
in three years.
