Advice please
I am due an
echocardiogram
but I have no idea when it will be. I’m on the 4th urgent cardiology referral from my GP but nothing seems to be happening. Last Thursday I was seen by a GP who said it could be heart failure, but offered nothing to confirm or deny this.

Need some practical advice
I have had an
echocardiogram
and a heart CT. Since I was discharged I’ve heard nothing - no outpatient appointment, no results of the tests, no advice on managing symptoms. So these are the practical questions that I have, and would be grateful for any advice.

Atrial fibrillation and PMR
As I was due to have an
echocardiogram
today anyway it was decided to see how that panned out. Of course I’ve been looking up everything that moves, causes, reasons etc, but NOTHING about vasculiis or PMR or auto immune disease has showed up at all.

Mild PAH or not?
While in India, I had blood tests which all came back ok, plus and
Echocardiogram
. The Echo came back all fine, except for Mild PAH of 26 mmHg (cal PASP IS 21+5=26). Upon my return to the UK, I had an
echocardiogram
and a treadmill stress test through the NHS.

Are some tests justified?
Is there a case, with the family history for further tests, maybe an
Echocardiogram
? Or am I overthinking this? Despite all the symptoms of HD and all the tests possible at the time (30 years ago), mum was told she was fine till the day she died.

Good news for those suffering from heart failure, you CAN recover, I DID, thanks God.
Had
echocardiogram
. Waited quietly for results and didn't contact hospital. Results came back in Feb. ejection fraction up to 46%, ( normal person is 40% - 54%) Mitral valve regurgitation largely resolved.

Day 46 - update on hubby
Hubby had a 24hr ECG last week and has an
echocardiogram
at the end of the month, as a follow up from the blackouts he had earlier in the year. Hubbys neuropathy has been bad again and he is complaining about having pins/needles/discomfort in his feet. He is very wobbly on his feet too.

Anyone know...
...whether I should receive results of an
Echocardiogram
from the hospital where I received it, or from the GP who referred me? Currently both are saying each other!

Recent Echocardiogram
Just received results for recent Echo. " This is an update on this gentleman with ischaemic cardiomyopathy and previous GABG. He has now had an up-to-date echo and his EF remains stable at 40 % with no significant valvular abnormality ". He is due to come to my clinic in July of this year for review.

Prognosis and return to work after ‘widow maker’
Armed with lots of meds I started my road to recovery but still found it all surreal as there had been no signs at all and in fact I was supposed to be flying abroad on holiday 2 days after HA. 3 weeks later I attended
echocardiogram
but didn’t feel great.

Puzzling Results
I had a blood test, chest x-ray, ECG and an
echocardiogram
. All were normal so I assumed it was a thyroid problem. We come to the time when NDT was unavailable and I had to ask the doctor for Thyroxine.
