Fingers crossed ! Sotalol
The next step is an
echocardiogram
to 'assess his left atrium size before proceeding to DC cardioversion'. Should be fine. Checked Sotalol out online - it appears to be a cross between a beta blocker and antiarrhythmic med.

Newly ectopic
Had all the blood tests, all normal,
echocardiogram
normal, chest xray normal, Holter monitor showed normal sinus rhythm with 4000 PVCs over the 24hrs. I am now waiting to see a cardiologist but have been told to just get on with life as normal but I don't feel normal.

What happens if I can’t take flecainide anymore?
No issues on the
echocardiogram
. About 5 walks ago, after a course of antibiotics, I started with ectopic beats, at least 6 per minute. They were constant during the day time for 9 days and then I started to get periods of time without. I don’t seem to get them at night.

Just had private consultation follow up and been told I don’t have cardiomyopathy after being told I had heart failure in January!!!!
How can the
echocardiogram
I had back in January tell me I have left ventricular systolic dysfunction and with an ejection fraction of 40-50% and to be then told I have heart failure and to be started on medications for this.

Palpitations treatment
I was experiencing heart palpitations for more than 15 years I went for an
Echocardiogram
and diagnised with dilated cardiomyopathy symptoms. I was given Carvedilol but it worsened. I changed to verapamil for more than a month but nothing changed but becoming worse.

Anyone with similar condition? Anxiety, Depression, Dry eyes, heart palpitations, chronic fatigue, headaches etc.
Did an ECG and
Echocardiogram
, results came back normal. Not surprised because symptoms weren't present at the time. ------- Energy levels Fatigue, low energy, extreme tiredness -------- Muscles: •Twitching, anywhere in the body, random, pulsating VERY annoying. Often occur episodic.

Where do I go from here? Afib or arythmia any difference?
My home Machines all still show AF ,bp monitor & Emay single lead cardia monitor. In general I don't get typical afib attacks although there has been the very occasional tachycardia .Heart failure ruled out but
echocardiogram
showed reason for AF.

Why am I having breathing issues
I have been having issues with breathing and have had cat scans of lungs and X-rays of lungs all normal. Heart tests such as echo cardiogram and carried a holter monitor and also a cat scan of my heart and they are attributing my breathing issue with anxiety. I’m wondering if these tests are accurate

So frustrated with the system!!
Also according to the secretary, I’m not even on the list for an
echocardiogram
which I’ve been waiting for since April 2nd? I have also explained to the secretary that although my 24 hr ecg does not show AF, my Apple Watch says otherwise.

Recurring intermittent chest pains after NSTEMI heart attack
I have had an
echocardiogram
which came back fine and I am waiting for another angiogram (delayed several times). The pains are not always strong, sometimes a dull ache which lasts for a few days and sometimes accompanied by a fluttering feeling.

My ablation that never was
I will have to have another
echocardiogram
done in the near future and possibly another tape. But how lucky was I to see this man!! He thinks the new regime could give me up to five years symptom free - so onwards and upwards!
