Status Update Post-atrial Cardioäblation:
Had rapid atrial quivering/fibrillation develop in Feb '21 while I was focused on avoiding a second heart attack after having had a major one 9½ years earlier. Got put on meds to see if AFib could be managed that way but worsened to the point that by Aug, my heart was tracked at 244 BPM and I'd collapsed

Intermittent breathlessness with effort
My last
echocardiogram
was normal. Any idea what it could be? It can be very debilitating as I feel almost as if I'm going to faint. The rest of the time I have no problems. I'm a bit convinced it's the beta- blocker but why only from time to time? Thank you for reading! Take care X

Flecainide daily without beta blocker
I had an
echocardiogram
prior to being prescribed Flecainide and have had no issues with any side effects taking it as a PIP and it has always put me back into NSR within one to three hours.

Advice on Heart Failure
I've been diagnosed with heart failure, when I'm normally a fit and healthy guy. Cant walk more than 10 paces up the stairs or sleep due to breathlessness. GP has sent me for ecg, bloods and chest x ray. I had to beg for an echo cardiogram (not had yet). There seems to be no urgency to treat me, and

Pill in pocket - help! does anyone know what I should do?
I don’t have anything structurally wrong with my heart after the
echocardiogram
last year. I am hoping to get an ablation and am waiting for a call to now see an EP privately in next couple of weeks as I’d be waiting forever with my hospital.

Hi, been suffering with flutters since 3 am this morning, still awaiting info from my doctor, tried to ring this morning, no joy, no Drs in.
I had a 24 hr ECG which apparently picked up an abnormality, I then had an
Echocardiogram
and CT scan which showed a healthy heart, this has been going on for months. I tried to speak to my GP this morning, but no GP's in surgery today.

Need advice after letter diagnosis
Had
echocardiogram
after breathing problems and chest pains. Was told by letter and given atorvastatin and told I need a stress
echocardiogram
but 16 week wait. I’m stressed as I need to ask questions and I hate going on statins don’t know what to do

Could this be PMR related?
Having lived with PMR for almost 5 years, I really felt I understood this illness pretty well but I’m having different issues just now and am having pain around the midrib area, accompanied by Heart beat of around 140bpm and blood pressure of 205/95. This started a couple of months ago and I was taken

Ectopic Beats and Anxiety
Hello, I should start this post by saying that I've had my heart checked out twice now (once back in 2010 and again earlier this year 2022) by cardiologists (
echocardiogram
and 24 hour heart monitor) and they found nothing wrong other than the presence of ectopic beats (around 0.3% according to my last

Severe angina symptoms without significant obstruction
I had
echocardiogram
, CT angiogram. Blood flow fine and only moderate blockage in one artery. They discovered incidental POA but consultant wasn’t particularly worried by this. Mind you I’ve only ever talked to him for 5 mins by phone!

Pins and needles
A recent
echocardiogram
and MRI confirmed a LV mural thrombus, which added to the joy, hopefully now being controlled/zapped by a change to a couple of my seven daily medications. Just lately, during the night, I get pins and needles mainly in my right arm and hand.

Heart Murmur
He told me that a scan hadn’t been requested but an
echocardiogram
had. What! In her notes she stated that she’d found I had a heart murmur. First I’d heard of it.

Angina
I went to Doctors who sent me for x Ray and to a chest pain clinic where he said I might have an
echocardiogram
and stress tests to check for angina.

ECHOCARDIOGRAM
Hi, Ive finally got my appointment for the
Echocardiogram
which is taking place today. Ive been waiting approx. 3-4 months for this. My question is what does it show? In the last couple months i haven't had any palps or pains so now I'm thinking is it just a waste of time??

Trivial AR
Hi everyone, I recently had an
echocardiogram
and received the results letter today, but all written in 'Doctor speak'. It said my heart was normal size but I have trivial AR. Can anyone explain this to me please and what it means in practice? I also have to have a CTCA.
