Pain on left side of rib cage

Does anyone else get pain on the left side of their rib cage when they have palpitations? i have a cardiologist appointment on the 31st January but it’s a telephone consultation so how does this work ? I have had an echocardiogram which was fine but the heart monitor showed my heart racing which is why Iam on Bisoprolol now surely I need to be seen and they said it was urgent in October! Any thoughts on this please. Thank you

I often get unexplained pain on my left side, I suffer with angina, I've had several tests and nothing has shown up. I found the BHF nurses very helpful when I phoned, they were very reassuring.
