I had a 24 hr ECG which apparently picked up an abnormality, I then had an Echocardiogram and CT scan which showed a healthy heart, this has been going on for months. I tried to speak to my GP this morning, but no GP's in surgery today. For the first time in ages, my heart has been continuously fluttering since 3 am this morning, it is now nearly 8.30. Told to ring GP surgery tomorrow and hope that I can speak to someone. I am now knackered and my heart is constantly fluttering away, any advice would be much appreciated please.

Hi, been suffering with flutters since 3 am this morning, still awaiting info from my doctor, tried to ring this morning, no joy, no Drs in.
Dear Wilson1995
If this is making you feel so bad you have to do something about it, even to plonking yourself in A&E , you cannot go on feeling like this, you will make yourself worse.
I hope you find your answers and please don’t forget us , a lot of people will be thinking of you.
Take care
Phone 111 Thay will either see you or get appointment with your GP
Thank you all, another call to the GP and I got an appointment, they did an ECG and it showed up as Eptopic, they have written to the hospital to get something done, as it just seems that because CT and Echo were normal, I have just been left. They reassured me nothing serious, gave me advice if anything else happens, suggested a diary and to stay away from caffeinated drinks etc. Still going now at 5 o'clock, such a nuisance.
I get this. I once had it for about 2 days. I went to A&E they said I was fine and sent me home??? Then my cardiologist rang me a few weeks later and said he was told by A&E i was there. All he did was increase my bisoprolol. It did help mind but then it happened again. I find when it does i need to avoid spicy food, chocolate, caffeine for a few days and drink plenty of water, plain diet and rest.
