Tachycardia
I had an
echocardiogram
over a week ago and it came back perfectly normal, I’m still having palpitations and a heart rate of 100 or just over, I’m waiting for my app with a cardiologist finally and have a 72 hour heart monitor fitting on 5th jan, I’m just terrified of waiting for things as I haven’t

Recently diagnosed with ANCA Vasculitis.
In the following weeks, I had a 48 hour Holter Monitor and an
echocardiogram
which came back normal, although I still experience palpitations on a daily basis. I have also had a chest X-ray which came back normal.

Pvcs
All my blood work has been normal, ekgs normal ( 3 of them) and an
echocardiogram
. Normal. I wore a holter monitor for 24 hours. I got the results and it was abnormal. There was a 9 beat run of pvcs. My dr didn't seem overly concerned but I have another cardiologist appointment in a month.

Worrying heart tests
😐 Anyway an urgent 24hr ecg and
echocardiogram
were requested by my GP. The 24hr ecg I had done last week, and the echo this week. I had a cardiology appointment booked for 15th Dec to discuss results.

Angiogram
I have just had a transoesophageal
echocardiogram
and was very apprehensive and worried about it, but I was fine. I was given anaesthetic and I didn't feel a thing, the worse for me was the throat spray, it was vile and made me gag.

Left Atrium Dilation
I was then sent for an
Echocardiogram
and got a letter in the post saying that I had a severely dilated left Atrium and a left ventricle with some wall abnormalities. No specifics or details of the measurements.

New to all this
I have just had an
echocardiogram
and am awaiting results. I found the BHF booklet "On living with cardiomyopathy" very helpful but I am still unsure how much physical exercise I will be able to do. I am seeing my GP on Monday evening and hope she will be able to help.

Amusement and a little worried
I’ve not had any follow up from my cardiologist, last week I went for a
echocardiogram
and thought I’ll get an appointment next to see him, and today I got a letter which I had to read twice, my appointment is for May 2018 that’s 10 month after my operation, I was told it would be 10/12 weeks after my

My Wife
This post has nothing to do with lupus. It is about my wife Laura. Yesterday we got some disturbing new from her doctor. Her left breast has been in extreme pain for the last few weeks and her breast has swollen from D to E cup size. For her to wear a bra is intolerable, and just normal movement from

Moderate RV systolic dysfunction
My cardiologist didn't get enough information from my angiogram so he ordered an echo cardiogram. This show a much improved EF-47% up from 30% (meds?) but showed moderate RV systolic dysfunction. Even with one of my four bypasses closed my cardiologist said LV abnormalities don't account for RV dysfunction

Not able to walk much, short of breath, racing heart, please help
After the tachycardia episode my cardiologist did a holter test, leg ultrasound, ekg and
echocardiogram
and he says everything came out fine. I had a stress test about a month before and it came out fine but I don't think I could pass it now.

're dental work
My implants or the bleeding caused my AF to play up but I have had an
echocardiogram
and all is well. I still have to have the treadmill test, which I hate because I get so out of breath! All I have to go through now is to have the new teeth fitted, hopefully before Christmas!

Struggling every day
Back when this all started I have multiple EKGs, chest x-rays, blood work and a stress test
echocardiogram
. All was normal. Doctors have no answers. Does anyone else go through this? Is it safe to let myself believe that this isn't heart related since it has been going on this long?!

Advice on myocarditis please.
Spent five days in hospital, had many ECG's, CT scan,
Echocardiogram
etc., Not much information given to me even though I think I saw a total of 12 different senior and junior doctors. Was discharge and told I would get an appointment to return for an MRI.

Update
I have a moderate to severe heart valve leak, plus angina, looks like I will have to have surgery, but before then I await some more tests, Coronary angiography, and a Transoesophageal
echocardiogram
[ what a mouthful ] sometimes I feel I have a box of frogs in my chest, will be glad to get it all sorted
