Many months ago, I tried Rivaroxaban but found it affects my ability to focus my eyes.
Switched to Apixaban and that has seemed OK.
However, two things have happened. I had a neurological assessment which found almost zero reflexes in my arms. And my feet have become very dry and are starting to become somewhat number. Slathering creams makes them feel a little less dry but that is very temporary.
My carelessness, I misplaced the last blister of my current pack and did without for a couple of days. Woke up this morning with my feet feeling much less dry, and being close to appropriately sensitive.
[Added} As the day has gone on, my feet have continued to improve. I feel more awake than I have for some time. And I'm generally feeling stronger.
Just asking out of general interest/for discussion.

Carew, it may be that your body is sensitive to some ingredient in the apixiban. Have you spoken to your doctor about this?
As an example, I was on warfarin for many years before my specialist determined that my body was reacting badly to the warfarin, and I do much better on apixiban.
There are other binders and fillers in the pills in addition to the actual med itself. Maybe give your doctor a shout, and soon!
