Tapentadol for severe pain - any good?
I'm being moved off Buprenorphine Subs (0.2mcgs x 3 PRN daily) onto Tapentadol 50mg SR 2x daily and 50mg IR 2x PRN daily. Has anyone else made this transfer? I suffer from severe Lumbar/SI/Pelvic Pain after 3 fusions on my spine, plus Bursitis, and Cervical Spondylitis. I used to be on Fentanyl, but

Lap with general gynae found no endo, should I pay for a second opinion with endo specialist?
Hi, sorry for long post, going into detail in the hope someone recognises symptoms. I have had pelvic pain most days for around five years. Mar 2019 I had a laparoscopy to look for endo. None was found but they did find adhesions around my bowel and appendix. I was referred to the surgical team but they

Piriformis Syndrome with PMR
I have had a terrible day today starting with not being able to get off the sofa. WE had to call an ambulance and paramedics needed to give me gas and air for the pain before taking me to hospital where they gave me Oramorph. I am home again and have oramorph from GP for the weekend before going again

Medication advice
I am currently on Oramorph and Pregabalin for my endo. I am in pain all day everyday and the medications I am on aren’t really touching the pain. I have tried over 25 different pain killers. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try that is stronger than oramorph please? I have attached a pic

Endometriosis never-ending pain.
This is my first post. But I feel your pain. I am fed up. I don't know how I'm going to be from one minute to the next. I can't plan anything, the pain has got increasingly worse, the exhaustion strikes at any time it's uncomfortable to lie down, sit stand and sleep - it's debilitating. I was recently

Well my goodness how amazing it is to read a post by someone,in this case the person above, and learn so much from those who respond that might be applicable to my situation. I was instructed to reduce from 15mg to 10mg by my rheumy' and of course received lots of advice about that in a previous post.

Hip pain
HIP PAIN Hi all, I am 54yrs old and developed a sharp continuous pain around the top of my left leg and hip. Saw the doctor and sent for an MRI scan and attended physio. Scan only showed up slight osteoarthritis and was told this could nit be causing the amount off pain I was in. Have had back problems

If taking oramorph for copd what dosage do you find beneficial. Spoke to adoctor at UCLH who suggested that oramorph May help my breathlessness, she just said low dose twice a day. I think she said 0.5mg. but how do I measure out 0.5 mg? Max
