Effect of noise on health
I suffered
domestic
violence
and I'm sure the shouting also affected me. If nothing else it caused palpitations. Being a party animal I spent weekends at partying. Loud music create health problems. It changes your mood, cause palpitations, deafens you.

Taking action
Unfortunately, one of the recommendations that were mentioned was to join a
domestic
violence
group. It took many years to grow and be able to look past the things my ex did to me. This was the only way I felt like I could at least try to coparent.

Trying to Figure Things Out
I want to help people, maybe even open up my own non-profit for
domestic
violence
and sexual assault survivors. I also found out I have Type 2 Diabetes, which has also taken a toll on me physically and mentally.

Domestic Abuse
This is what some people still call
domestic
violence
. I experienced it for over 10yrs from my son. Yes you read right my son not my husband or partner. This is an area grossly ignored despite more being know of other types of domestic abuse. He started changing from age 13.

ME.
I see a psychologist,
domestic
violence
councillor, and psychiatrist. But I feel none of that is enough and I don't know what the next step is. I also take medication that I don't see it to be working. It's so hard to not just give up.

What do you do when you have reached your breaking point in life and are beyond fedup with everything in your life and everyone? Hopeless.
I have been forced to deal with almost every tragedy under the sun from death of multiple young siblings to me getting diagnosed with multiple very serious health issues, a car accident that almost killed me, victim of
domestic
violence
, loss of multiple jobs and have been homeless.

progress not perfection
During this time I also was involved in a highly toxic relationship where I was a victim of
domestic
violence
. Not only was he physically abusive he was extremely emotionally abusive. Just when i thought it couldn't get any worse he ended up sexually abusing me.

No Social Life : Marginalize by abusers
First what it used to be was that talks about
domestic
violence
was taboo. N when with people, i have to be presented according to them, keep smiling and showing as if I am very beloved. As such, I stopped going out with them.
