DHEA....
I've seen a few posts recently that mention
DHEA
....and I was just wondering what it is and what it's used for? Is it something I should try while TTC? Will it help alongside IVF?

Very concerned about thyroid lab results
I was concerned but my GP wasn't so I had a salivary test done privately which included Cortisol and
DHEA
. Basically cortisol was high(off the chart) throughout the 4 readings of the day and
DHEA
Low.

DHEA and CoQ10
The doctor recommended taking
DHEA
and CoQ10. Has anyone had a similar experience and followed the same course of action?

DHEA & CORTISOL to improve T4 to T3 Conversion
I've been reading here, and other sources, much about sex hormones,
DHEA
, Adrenals, Cortisol but admittedly not as much as I've been reading Thyroid specific studies/articles. Luckily, I had one doc, who I no longer see, order a 24hour saliva collection for me.

Cortisol results
My even more recent 24 hr saliva profile via Regenerus labs shows, I'm barely producing cortisol and
dhea
is very high. They have reported n/mol, but I suspect they mean ng/l, based on a conversion factor of 27.5 this would still give a very low cortisol of 138 n/mol.

I'm in shock 😱
Unfortunately Britain is behind with the research with
DHEA
and Coq10. I truly believe along with a few changes with my life style this is why I have got my result. I honestly hope you all get your BFP. Love to you all xx

DHEA - good advice or not?
Morning, just looking to find out success stories with people using
DHEA
. I've ordered, from a recommended UK site 50mg doses but have read that it should maybe be 75mg!! We're heading to USA in a couple of weeks so have already sussed out where to pick up more if need be.

DHEA
Hi all, I hope all is going as well as possible with you all 😘 Does anyone known anything about how to get
DHEA
? We have been advised by our doctor that it is used widely in the US and the Middle East and now on trials in the U.K.

Need help understanding mums test results
DHEA
was low normal. Candida was sky high, gut biome was in poor health so we have been working on those 2 areas first. Her B12 last year was 243ng/l (190-660) and GP refused to believe she could be deficient, so we have gone route of self medicating with sublinguals which have helped a bit.

Amh
I'm currently taking
dhea
after reading recommendations on here, but is it more increasing quality than quantity? Just worried about my eggs now as that was my one an only nhs cycle and had none to freeze and I assume as I get older they will get less. Wishing everyone on current cycle success xx

ndt working
I have been on
DHEA
for 4 days also. I have been refered to a pulmanoligist who was reccomended by my endroconoloigist so if they are in liason it can only be a good thing.

IVF truly messes up my cycle!!
It's not delaying anything as since I'm trying
DHEA
this time we have to wait at least 3 months anyway, but I would really like my body to have a bit of time with a normal cycle before I start hammering it with hormones again. AND would like a chance at naturally conceiving. 😒

Could these cortisol results cause problems taking thyroid meds?
Cortisol results with ranges from 15.8.17 1. 5.21 (2.68-9.3) 2. 3.28 High (0.75-2.93) 3. 1.27 (0.36-1.88) 4. 1.34 High (< 0.94)
DHEA
(am) 0.43 (0.25-2.22) So perhaps THIS is why taking the thyroid tablets causes problems?? I'm not sure how to fix this.

Transfer done😊😊😊and a wee bonus
I asked the Dr what she felt made the difference as this cycle been soooooo much better, she said
dhea
and possibly the meds which nhs don't use plus without slating the NHS she just said they can be so much more individualised as they have the time due to less patients..all in all I can't fault them
