Christmas treatment

I am currently taking DHEA and my clinic advised that results peak at 4-5 months of taking. I was going to take it for 3 months as a lot of people on here seem to do, that would take me to treatment next month. I just do not think I am ready for ivf next month. Emotionally I am not ready, I have put a bit of weight back on which I need to lose and if the clinic are saying results peak at 4 months then I feel like I should go 4 months and give it my best shot.

My 4 month cycle would take me to egg collection between Christmas and new year, which sounds a bit challenging! I have spoken to the clinic and they only close Christmas Day and keep treatments running as normal every other day, so I think I am going to go for it! Is any one else having or had treatment over Christmas?

Hi, we are looking at doing icsi early January but it depends on my cycle I suppose. Don't know if the clinic is open around Christmas but I think we would just be doing tests in mid Dec with a January start (fingers crossed). I had heard some clinics close completely but one clinic I spoke to was open and said Christmas was a good time to do it as many people didn't want treatment over Christmas so it's not very busy. You might be able to get your pick of appointment times. Good luck with your cycle xxx
