Latest Blood results
Hi, I have recd my latest blood results today from my doctor. She tells me everything is well within 'normal' ranges apart from my Iron which is a little low. No prescription though! She also said my kidneys are not functioning as well as they should and I need to have another test for them in January

New study: Limiting eating to daytime (10-12 hours) lowers cholesterol, body fat, and glucose levels with same food choices. You?
There have been previous studies that show giving up "eating late at night" helps with diet and health. This new study shows how in a short period of time, limiting a high fat diet in mice to specific hours during the day led them to less bloated fat cells. http://www.salk.edu/news/pressrelease_details.php

Heart rates
What is your resting heart rate? And what will it get up to when your not resting? My resting heart rate is noreally around the mid 80's, like 84- 85. I will check it during the night and first thing in the morning before I get out of bed and it is 85 or so. During the day if I'm up and around sometimes

The move to readily available, less invasive health monitoring
One of the downsides of living with a chronic condition like CLL, is the need for regular monitoring of our health via blood tests and physical examinations. Not many people like needles, so being required to undergo regular blood tests and then have to wait for the results, certainly provides an opportunity

Help pleae
At the present time I have been having urine infections which do not clear up even after being given antibiotics which are shown to be suitable to kill off the bacteria after the sample has been sent to the lab. I have had infections for well over a year and I have been treated constantly since May.

Late dumping
My husband suffers from late dumping and at times it has developed into something serious and we've needed to call an ambulance with extremely low blood sugar. He had severe mental confusion and limited and slurred speech. Glucose gel and cola did eventually bring him back to normal . I too wonder how

Can anybody translate blood results..
Husband has got a printout of his bloods, and we don't understand what MCH is. His TSH is 0.15 and is marked LO His Glucose is 9.5 and is marked HI but that's ok as he is diabetic, diet controlled and had just eaten. The one I don't understand is MCH which is33 and marked HI. What is MCH?

Test Results....HELP! I don't understand them!
Hi Everyone, I hope that you are all doing. I have some questions, so please bare with me. How long does it take elevated AST and ALT levels to come down due to fatty liver? What about from a medicine reaction? Is there a difference? Here is why I ask. On February 8th of this year, I fell down
