Suffering the symptoms of endo but doctors unwilling to help!
Hello! Been suffering from the symptoms of endo for a few years Now,my GP referred me to gynacologist, had all scans and swabs. I was told it might be polisistic ovary and endometreosis. Been back to my GP today and they are unwilling to do anything the try the pill again which I've been on for 5 years

Copper IUD advice
Hello everyone, this is my first post and I'm just looking for a bit of advice/opinions from others. I've had a bit of an unsettling experience with my GP today. I asked about having my copper coil out as I have read that as well as making your periods heavier and more painful (which I can cope with)

Help! Natural FET: any experiences on here?
Hi lovely community. We've been dogged by issues throughout our journey ttc over the last 3 years, around every corner there seems to be another obstacle. On Monday this week I had a hysteroscopy to investigate fluid in my uterus they found on our last FET (then abandoned), and as suspected my consultant

Mirena coil?
Anyone have the mirena coil? My doctor has recommended me to have this fitted since I have a hormonal imbalance due to the contraceptive pill I was taking. Symptoms include depression and anxiety amongst many others but, I am very nervous and anxious about having this coil fitted as I don't know what

Working in the nhs and endo - advice needed please!
Hi everyone, I hope your Tuesday is going well! I’m in desperate need of advice please ladies! Because of my endo (and a bad bout of flu), my sickness record in my job has been horrendous. I was sent a letter back in February about being placed on stage 2 sickness monitoring but the meeting never happened

IUD
Hi, I've had the copper coil for about 3 months now. Sometimes I can feel the strings and sometimes I can't. Also I felt the coil move position before and then return back. However, this time I feel the coil is very low and I think I can feel it as soon as I put my fingers in to check, I can feel the

Any Safe(ish) Birth Control Out There? Who's on What?
Hi There! (DISCLAIMER - I will probably botch the medical spelling of the antigens etc). I haven't been on here for quite some time. I need to figure out how to do my email alerts again. My husband accidentally "unsubscribed" me. My daughter who found out she was LA positive had a successful pregnancy

Mirena Coil for 16 year old girl? Has to be fitted soon :(
Hi, I'm debating going through with the mirena coil and would like some advice from people who've had it (I'd love anybody's advice, but particularly if you haven't had children so I know what the pain is like). I've been on the pill since I was 11, having had horrendous periods starting when I was 10

Adenomyosis: Mirena or Implant?
Hi all, I have adenomyosis. Also had bilateral endometrial cysts. Had my lap one year ago, removed one ovary and cut half from the other ovary. No endo outside uterus was found. Was on progesteron (200 mg) for 6 months, no periods at all but had a functional cyst, 1 tiny fibroid and no adeno on the

is only using condoms a safe method of birth control?
I'm 21 and recently entered into a relationship, neither of us has had sex before but me and my boyfriend both want to. I spoke to my friends a lot about it and a lot of them are telling me that only using condoms is a 'stupid' idea because they aren't effective enough to prevent pregnancy. I really

Pain in right side has returned
Hey, I know I'm posting a lot lately but I'm just pretty fed up now... I had my diagnostic lap on 27th March (just over a week ago) and according to my op notes, nothing was found or diagnosed and I can't meet with my gynae for 3 to 4 months... Over the past 2 days, my stitches have been a bit bloody
