Treatment or what to do
Hi guys, I got diagnosed with endo in 2006 when I was 18/19 which which was a good diagnosis being that age as usually it takes years to diagnose. So basically I had a lap and diathermy in 2006 and then 6 months of zoladex, then in 2008 I had a further lap and excision, and they left a litre of adept

Advice on further tratment
Hi everyone, Hope you are all as well as can be. Am after some advice regarding future treatment for my endo. I’ve recently come off Prostap (Lupron) as the side effects were horrific. I was on it two years ago with little problem - hot flashes and fatigue - and all my pain disappeared. It really did

Pink discharge
Hey everyone, I wonder if anyone can help? I’ve had spotting after sex, awful pelvic pain and now getting pink discharge. I had an emergency smear Monday night and bled the minute my cervix was touched. I have a IUD in place which she said looked fine. Freaking out a bit. Anyone had these sort or symptoms

PCOS, male hormones, no insuline resistance and IUDs.
Hello. Please, I've been diagnosed with PCOs in December 2016 and, since then, I've been taking birth control pills (as a form of contraception in my long-term relationship and as a treatment in itself). Because I am very afraid of getting pregnant and really do not want kids, I take my pill religiously

Hi, I am thinking of putting the IUD, but I am concerned with the possible cramps and bleeding and infections to come. Anyone can advise on that? Thank you

Smear test after sexual abuse, under general anaesthetic?
This is my first post in this community so I hope I have chosen the right one and it’s in the right place. If not, feel free to point me in the direction of another forum :) I am 28, I had my first smear 3 years ago at 25. It was horrific. It was the process itself, but I experienced sexual abuse as

Last month it was so bad and felt like I was having contractions (I don’t have children but did have a ‘medical termination’ after a miscarriage

Contraceptive coil after pp
Hi everyone, can anyone share their experiences of getting a contraceptive coil fitted after having puerprral psychosis. I want to get one fitted and can't get a copper one as my periods are so heavy anyway and it will make them worse apparently. I'm only interested in the coil which has three years

Hi ladies So I’m new to the page and after going for multiple doctors appointments I’ve seen a gynaecologist who has confirmed he thinks I have endometriosis. He’s given me multiple options e.g keep taking the pill without a break, get the coil or have a laparoscopy and said ‘you decide’. So I’m a bit

Anxiety and Palpitations
I am on 100mcg of Levothyroxine and have been for some years now and doing relatively ok. Over the last couple of months or so I have been suffering with terrible anxiety all the time that I am awake and palpitations constant with the heart beat coming out my ears. It is becoming very distressing and

Is there other alternative treatments out there for women that sufferer from endometriosis rather than the pill or the Mirena coil?
Hi there, I'm new to this page, but hopefully maybe someone could shade some light about contraception alternatives. I've had key hole surgery back in 2013, for endometriosis. I'm only stage 2, so not too bad. I also was told I had Adenomyosis as well, but I think it comes with the territory of having
